I still think they’ll struggle to strike a deal. I don’t see either side making any concessions…..let’s see what’s said next week.
Me neither but to be honest I don't think rm would need to change that much to have an offer accepted. There were a few murmurs that quite a few people would have accepted the last one . I think as far as pay goes , backdate the 3.5% to April, make the 2% lump sum no strings , and up next year's to 2.5% . Then on change make Sunday working voluntary only and built into new starters contracts so everyone then has a choice to work it if they want. Make final delivery 4pm not 5pm .
I think that would get a vote across the line in my opinion . Don't get me wrong , a lot of people would still be ****ed but it would get the deal done.
