I'm sorry , you seem to be struggling with basic grammar. Planned is definitely not the same as planning . If you want to get all arsy about it like you usually do because it's impossible for you to admit you're wrong, I'll simplify it for you. Planned is dates that are already set to take place . I.e , dates that are already 'planned ' at the time of the agreement . Anything after that agreement was not 'planned' at the time of agreement . Get it now? It's quite simple really. That is all I will say on the matter as I don't want to get drawn into one of your infamous playground 'debates' because it ls just futile. The key word there is "planned". The planned AI was cancelled and you know that . The talks continued. The CWU have to legally announce action 2 weeks prior so they had no choice bit to announce in case talks broke down. It would have been pretty silly of the cwu not to have their only means of retaliation ready to go in case talks were not successful no ? For someone that claims to have been involved with unions before your post suggests you are pretty naive in regards to their methods, or unless like I said you are just blinded by bias.

The CWU did suspend the planned IA that you are referring to and the announcement was for further strikes outside of the cool off period which I'm sure you are aware have to be announced two weeks prior to action in accordance with anti trade union laws . Please stop twisting situations to support your narrative . Even though ST tried the same bullsh7t you just did on workplace , RM were fully aware of the situation.

Yet another shareholder completely oblivious to the facts. The CWU have not "fecked" anything up . In fact the maintain that their call for IA next week is legal , however , due to the strict trade union laws now in place and the reluctance of the court system to favour any action from unions they have decided to call off the action rather than risk a court battle which could result in a negative outcome for the upcoming ballot . Sounds like common sense to me . Maybe as a shareholder you should focus your anger towards royal mail .

I may be wrong but didn't dave say on the live last week that the current ballot is still live and the PE were meeting to see if they want to take some IA in the coming weeks due to the fact that royal mail has renaged on its agreement to use the IR framework and not bring start any revisions whilst talks are ongoing ?

Well after watching that roasting I for one feel absolutely vindicated in my actions as an employee standing up against a disingenuous , scheming and totally inept leader. I know a lot of the people on here don't have access to workplace and don't get to see the type of man Mr Thomson is but I hope at least now some of you realise that this is not the man to be trusting with your investment. There will obviously be a few that are too proud to admit it , but I fail to see how anyone can defend his actions after watching that after what was such a massive exposing of his mistrust and lies by all political parties.
