Talks are not being mediated by Acas....yet! Today's meeting is to just try and agree ground rules and an agenda for talks. I suspect RM's grounds rules will be cancel IA whilst talks are in progress and CWU's ground rules will be cancel the notice served on agreements . So I wouldn't get too excited just yet . ST has been on workplace social media saying that all social media and media leaks should be stopped, and any meeting content kept secret whilst talks are going on lol. You couldn't write it.

First meeting tomorrow then the next on Thursday. Strikes still going ahead. Thomson is supposed to be at the meetings .

Good post scamp. I'm neither agreeing or disagreeing with anything you said because three truth is nobody knows . But if even half of what you said is true , just take a look at this live session from just a year ago and then it will become clear just why we have no trust or respect for the current leadership. Thomson comes across as an arrogant and condescending liar and it turns out that is exactly what he is. Unfortunately as the ceo he is the mouthpiece ( we rarley see anyone else) so he's bound to be the one that receives the flak .

Are you serious ? The hierarchy and the union may want it but I guarantee posties don't. I personally agree with siso and im surprised its not been implemented long befote now but the reason they come in early , rush around and don't take the breaks is to make time and for the early finish. If that's taken away I can't see them being anything other than unhappy with it. Especially when faster people start getting asked to stay to their time to do the work of others no so fast. I do agree however that it may be what RM want now but may very well regret it when they see the results, along with the public.

Yes more or less . The most notable one for me ( if correct ) is the siso implementation. This will enrage a lot of posties and only strengthen the resolve of anyone that may have been on the fence about crossing the picket line. In my opinion of corse.

Current VR package halved.
Serious look into long term sick and absent staff.
No longer covering duties of cwu rep release.
No early finishes brought in by the end of the month ( basically implement siso)
That's all I've heard for the moment.
