It's always so nice reading this board...... sun is out, TXP is rising, cold one getting colder in the fridge. Life is good and TXP is going to make it oh so sweet this year!! Happy days for all I think?

How come PB has such a high average? Was TXP ever that high?

PB interviews so well. So there are four propects lined up now on Ortoire, that's good news. Each one will create multiple wells for production. Shell are playing nciely. It's all good news!!

You've got love this company. It's current production which will be added to. It's future massive Ortoire plans which are beginning very shortly. PB at the helm. What's not to like? Not a lot as I see it. When the govermnet sort the tax out then the cherry will be on top.

I heard a UK politicain say before the last election, if a government raises taxes they actually get less money into the exchequer. Dropping taxes creates more revenue for the coffers. Maybe Trinidad's government could think about that.....

Honestly, I asked last week if the partners had the foresight to have a ‘what if’ plan in place? You know, just in case the oil wasn’t right beneath the drill tip. I guess they are now trying to work out a new plan? Well that surprises and disappoints me as I would have thought the ‘what if’ plan should have been discussed before WP was even hired. You know that old song that fans used to sing to Keegan after he got emotional ‘shame on Kevin Keegan ol what can it mean......’ and so on, I wonder if the phrase ‘surprised and disappointed’ will be JOG’s new haunting catch phrase? I’ve seen it used a lot on this board since last week. To be fair, I would be surprised and disappointed if it wasn’t.

2p rise today? Still waiting for the first time that happens and that will be a very good day!!

Well Abbatt, that would be an oversight of monumental proportions then. I can’t believe that so many intelligent, well paid people wouldn’t have factored a ‘what if’ scenario into this. As so many on here say and know, looking for oil is always hit and miss. Ol well, we wait and see what plan they come up with now that ‘what if’ is now the reality.

I'm trying to work out what the partner's 'what if' plan is/was? Surely they have been chatting extensively since the last RNS and this drop in the SP. More to the point, did they not chat before the drill and ask each other 'what if' there's no oil where we are drilling? In my little business I plan in advance for 'what if' a camera packs up and I am sure lots of you have 'what if' plans should you encountered the unexpected in your own businesses.

This is beginning to remind me of when the Allies went into Iraq and didn't have a 'what if' we win the war and don't find WMD's.....

Thanks for the response Workover. Damn, I was hoping 2kms was a long way and a 'small' gamble to be honest. I didn't realise that it would be the same as missing a 2 yard penalty, which of course is unmissble. That is not good news.

Interesting that all the partners signed off on the drill and it has gone so horribly wrong. That's a lot of money spent and lost, not only by the partners but also us share holders. Hmmm......now what then? Sit and wait or bite the bullet on the losses. I'm going to sit and wait as that has always worked for me in the past.
