Moring Dickupham, a question for you if I may as I am not exactly sure how to work this out. At the low end (proven) of 25mmboe at Verbier, what could the potential SP for JOG be? I know there has been talk of £10 per share if the high end is discovered but I am trying not to think about that......Thanks in advance.

I haven't been in VOG for years now but it is always a share chat board that I follow. Gutted for all holders where the SP is just now. However, if mjones is correct, then happier days might return? I hope so....what a lovely Christmas present that would be!! Good luck all......

Trump and his nonsense at every level, Brexit, the Saudi Crown Prince situation, the Russian involvement in Trump, Syria and the Trump withdrawl, the French protests, Greenspan saying runaway and hide, the continuing battle between OPEC and Trump, etc etc etc......it's a cauldron of storms and they are heading towards a perfect storm maybe? Hold on to your hats, as I don't think we have left the worst of this yet?

Somebody I work for, not a broker or an expert in the world finances I hasten to add, told me the other day that in 2008, his brokers/advisers/friends (whoever), urged him to bet against the economy, which he did. He told me about a month ago that he has been given the same advice.......gulp.

So the SP is pants, but it seems to be across the board and not just our beloved TXP. Ol well.....

I remember PB saying that we were going to have $18M in revenue for 2019, and that some financial jiggery pokery was going to be needed to complete the Ortoire drills combined with the normal 2019 drilling campaign. That was at $80pb. How, I wonder, will the current oil price affect the plans now? If the first Ortoire drill is successful then maybe all will be on track still? Otherwise what will be the plan then? I am glad that I am not the finance officer at TXP just now as that jiggery pokery will be the work of a master to get everything complete in 2019.

Also, does anybody know at what $ point per barrel we not turning a profit?

Still holding and still happy with TXP but this SP is painful......

Thanks Tidd. Now you have said that it's coming back to me. I remember PB saying that the funds available need to be juggled between the normal 2019 drills and the Ortoire campaign and that if Ortoire was successful or not, then they would have to think again at that point on how to proceed. Cash coming in almost matched the aspirations of TXP for 2019.

When you consider that JOG went to £4 when it proved up 25MMBs at the well head and they are talking about £10 if it has over 100MMBs, what will happen here if we hit 361MMBs? Let alone the upper end of that at 819MMBs..... Am I missing something? Is it that JOG will be worth more as it is the NS? Or are we sitting on a potential gold mine (black gold in this case)?

I know we have the base cake of the 2019 drill programme to continue growth of our production.

The cherry on that base cake is Ortoire. In the presentation, on slide 16, there are 11 identified drilling sites on four locations/areas within Ortoire, with a mixture of oil and gas. The Ortoire drilling campaign is what exactly? Three attempts, two gas and one oil if I remember correctly? Or is it multiple attempts on three areas?

Sorry for the question if it seems I’ve gone simple, I've lost track a little with what is happening in 2019. Busy brain and already switched over to holiday mode….dangerous as I’m not holiday yet….this time next week and I will be!!

Good post CBD. So Q2 is the beginning of the really good stuff. I don't want to wish my life away but I can't wait for that drilling campaign to start!! If Opec can do us a favour this week, the 06th I think, then we could be looking at a very different SP very soon.

Potentially 200m barrels of oil and 1 TCF of gas!! Where would that put the SP?

Was it 200m in first drill (potentially) or the whole Ortoire block?

Anybody know if there is an easily accessible list of major shareholders? I only want to look for only for interest sake.

What's the general consensus of opinion now? Will be languishing down at these levels until the run up to Ortoire, or maybe even the results of Ortoire? I said a couple of months ago (I think) that I thought we would be taken back to 15p to await Ortoire, but this is beyond my pessimistic thoughts of that point. Having said that, when we reached 21p I had a top up as I thought we were going in that direction at that point.....damn I'm good at this game!!

Personally, I can't see the end of year results lifting us too far, if at all. With the POO as it is and whatever else is happening to drag us back, I can't see a few more barrels making a difference.

I haven't changed my opinion of TXP, but man this current SP is pants and the wait for Ortoire couldn't be over quick enough.

Ha!! At least we have the Big Man in his red suit to look forward to!!
