For TXP to know they have gas does there need to be a visible flare at the site or can gas be found, and an RNS released, without the need to flare? Does a falre just happen when they reach the gas? I don't know anything about how this works?

Cheers Groover, that’s a great compliment but I am not clever enough to make an accurate prediction. I would guess that £3 either comes quickly from a buy out, that’s if we keep hitting targets, or eventually if we keep hitting targets, sell the produce, gas or oil, and there isn’t a buy out. I don’t have any working knowledge on how to work this out accurately but if we are at 77p and we haven’t even got gas sales as yet, £3 has got to happen if we get five hits and gas sales. The five hits being:
Coho-1
Cascudura
Chinook
Cascudura Deep
Royston or another drill at Chinook?

Obviously the following is pure speculation. If it was news on the Chinook drill, successful or otherwise, it would be price sensitive and therefore I'm not sure how that announcement could be planned days in advance? A presentation to announce signing of the NGC contract could possibly be announced in advance, even though it is price sensitive, as I guess there could be some sort of 'occasion' for it? TXP could not announce the news now without the T&T government and all other parties agreeing to a release date. It's massive news not only for the Mighty TXP but also T&T as a whole. Jut my two pennies worth.

Makingdough, not to dispute your post but I'm going with Holdandhope on this one. I'm not certain which video it was but I'm fairly sure he did say Chinook was the one he was excited about. It wasn't that long ago that I think he said it. Within the last 6 months from memory?

Am I correct in my memory that at some point in the recent past, PB said that Chinook was the drill that really excited him? I have this in my mind for some reason....
