This week has merely been a consolidation after last week breakout. This is standard behaviour as it now cools of RSI and by doing that it has created a bull flag which by it's name is quite bullish. It is now gathering energy for another leg up that could be quite substantial.

Nice one Paul. I think this was trading around 500p+ before the EPL fiasco. Now that the North Sea exposure will be down to 40%, and with assets and profits from countries that has less tax rate and/or no windfall tax, it will allow HBR to grow exponentially. I have an average of 227p so will be happy to trim at 500p atleast in 2024.

Banburyboy - If it was a US listed co, then we would have seen 350p yesterday but hey ho. Anyway that 350p is my prediction.

You do realise that there are people from across the pond that can short UK shares too. The downward pressure amplified after US open on the day RNS came out.

The collapse has been down to shorting pending the shambles by BOD. Hoping to see a bounce towards 1800-1900+ atleast in the next few days if not today.

Back to HBR, why is it not down by 5% today given the collapse in oil...maybe catch up tomorrow if not today!

I could have topped up as it came up towards 215p but left it out as already holding 18K...Now that we have got lower low with a positive divergence, things could get interesting in my view as long as 210 holds.

One really nasty candle down from 225p to 210p in a minute triggering stops. No news so far
