Did anybody ask about takeover speculation from Turkish company in Dec 2022? Also, what about current speculation around bidding war from multiple parties published on several newspapers? I guess they can answer it now as no more in closing period?

Slightly under my average but would be great if we see £6+ by end of the month.

Maybe that supplier insurance issues will be sorted out now that we are profitable. Need some update around that too

They are a joke with their target of 365p which is almost low of the last 5 years. Ocado showing them 2 fingers!

If so, then 800p should not be that far...hoping a positive announcement is up soon.

It can go down even if its oversold, and can keep going up even if its overbought eg. Nvidia, Tesla etc.

Have no doubt about ASOS making strong recovery as once it starts going up, it takes big leaps in a matter of days and can get to pre sell off levels. However, will it get a catalyst to do this kind of recovery is yet to be seen. Good luck to you and all holders.

Thankyou Evraz for you positive outlook that gives me some confidence. My only concern is whether all those positives like Zara sales, online May sales, profitability etc has already been factored in current SP as this has been investors, shorters and retailers knowledge for quite some time now. SP generally tends to fly when there is some positivity that comes as a surprise to the market. Proof will be in the pudding later in the week.

Understand that the management have been banging about H2 being profitable for some time. However the market has discounted this fully I am hoping. Hope the repricing in so happens when q3 figures are released next week otherwise we are in deep trouble.

H1 2018

Share price of £60 with Market cap of £6-7B on Net assets totalling £374m. Guess the market was extrapolating the profit exponentially indefinitely.

Fast forward H1 -2022/23

Loss of £87m due to one off charges to P&L.

Guess the market is extrapolating losses exponentially resulting in current share price of £3+.

Once we see profit again for the full year, that is when we will see the real value of ASOS. Until then, we have to buckle up and ride this storm

Could it be Mike Ashely doing this as he is a shrewd business even though he holds almost 10%

Is there a limit as to how much Mike or someone can buy at a time. I find it difficult to understand why leave a few number of shares /percentage that could have already given him 10% threshold by now if that is what he is after. Why risk it for nothing if the takeover comes before he gets his 10%?

Takeover or not...Asos needs to show a profitable earnings report next week as we really don't want to see a new low.

Hoping we have seen the lows.
