Mrhanji:
I don't think anyone is saying it is all fabricate. Let's take the accounts for example, they exist but where are the wagesfees for 20 or so world class scientists/engineers, where are the costs for 3 labs. Come to think where are these labs. Of course the word lab is open to interpretation. I'm sure most of us think of a lab being filled with white coated technocrat pouring over flashing computers screens but in reality it could be someone's garden shed. We know he and his wizards tried to extract drivers for CGMiner but we're rebuffed so there is evidence some work was going on but my view is it is amateur hour on a small budget and a total underestimation of the difficulty and sophistication required to 'crack' SHA256. Gardin spent his life setting up companies and trying to make money after his first success in AI sales. Although he has the title of Professor his academic ouput is not that of a 'renowned' physicist. I think his RNS output evades good scientific or engineering rigour or clarity when it comes describing what has been achieved. The goalposts shift and spin and it's a hard to follow the story, I think it is deliberate and certainly not for the good of investors. He claims discussion with big players but what does that actually mean. How could he claim they'd booked a slot with an ASIC manufacturer then cancelled, I'd suspect these companies need to see a serious deposit or signed watertight agreements before setting aside very valuable production time and setup costs; it's a highly improbable tale. Of course anyone of us could ring up TMSC and make tentative enquiries and claim we are in discussion. How much ! I'll get back to you after I speak to accounts !
Even the original patent application based upon the very real thesis by Naik was either created to encourage investment or a very naive attempt at a patent. The patent was always going to fail because of indisputable Prior Art.
His mumbling bumbling interviews seem to repeat the same message every time, energy saving, breakthroughs, discussions etc. One minute it's after market board makers the ASIC manufacturers.
All of this comes across as very shambolic and shoestring. I believe there is just enough backbone in the project but insufficient to form a credible commercial product. He's spinning it out for more months of salary.
The rest of the world say cracking SHA256 has not been done, and certainly not by QBT
