When they were developing it the problem was they couldnt get the car to safely over take or pull over to the side of the road safely if you had health issues for example and couldnt drive. It just slows down to a stop in the middle of the road just now. I remember it working in testing before but not all the time, maybe they have cracked it 4 or 5 years later. Plus maybe more usable road?

Ct6 is built in China and gm is building more cars in China for the Chinese market because of the trade war, so why will supercruise only be for the us market? They need to get it in the electric models and make it available for the gig economy, it wouldn’t be that much extra per week on the hire cost over the life of the vehicle. Thats a no brainer and im surprised it’s not on the cards.

I think ken and co are at ces but the main attraction is Vegas. If we are in this with Toyota it will be the tipping point.

PR should be running a story about our chip as a comparison, the smarteye story reads like they are ready to use in vehicles instead of a few years time in the customers we dont want or dont have the time to service

Theres something in the back of my mind from the dim and distant past about one of the Italian sports car brands that wanted features like this because a lot of the punters that buy the cars are older. It was something we were working on im sure. Never heard of it since, it might be something it might not.

They arent putting it in the xt4 because its too expensive, not to begin with anyway. The uptake is gonna be very slow, notice we aren’t going into the base cars only the top of the range ones, Byton is a good example, how many of them are they gonna sell?
