also I think there was a concern about a cash call, but with the profits from the oil flows seemingly able to cover the operational costs of the oil feed, its now only potentially a requirement if / when SO decides to diversify the development strategy? Who knows when that will be. Not sure about the gas development - would the profits cover the development costs for that or would it need a cash call? Guess we will know more when we know flow rates

i thought the reason most people were bailing was a) panoro dispute and b) unknown flow rates.....a) has seemingly been sorted, b) if Bermondsley is right we may have that answered in a week or so......fingers crossed!

I certainly my think this SP should be nearer 1.5p than 0.5p at these oil prices! Panoro risk looks to have dissipated, and they seem convinced the field is producing at a reasonable rate too. If only we could get some figures!!! Surely MXO will be turning a profit pretty soon

i cant see us finding anything directly out about flow rates until next results TBH (June 18?). I think the best bet here for a more immediate recovery is either a gas CPR or some news regarding the development plans.

I came to the same conclusion H&N as i stated last week.

I think anyone whos sold below 1p and crystallised a loss could have made a big mistake

assuming they come to an amicable solution and get on with developing the gas field - and assuming they are producing semi-decent volumes of oil (which seems to be indicated by Panoro to me in their statement about using oil proceeds to run operational costs from now on) I think its looking pretty good here. Admittedly it kind of comes down to oil volumes and running overhead in the near term. As soon as we get indications for that this should be >1p assuming its all ok. I'm hoping this latest news takes it back up to 0.75p again as that's now break even for me.

hmmmm just chucked another grand on at 0.57p, I really hope it pays off. That's my last tranche here for sure now.
