we don't even "know" they are committed to developing the gas field yet (although its looking pretty nailed on). Without the CPR who knows what's going on with that.

my understanding from the Panoro statement was there is a 12 month moratorium on cash calls for OPEX reasons "During a transitional period of approximately one year, the Aje JV Partners have agreed governance and funding arrangements which allow: All JV Partners to participate in decision-making as regards operations in the field; Operations to be solely funded from revenues from crude oil sales; " I'm not sure the moratorium covers development such as the gas field or not. TBH we don't even know a) how much the OPEX is and b) what the income is! It may be the income is enough to cover the OPEX and dev costs for the gas....it may not be. who knows lol

If the news black out was a consequence of the panoro shambles replacing SO wouldn't help much anyhoo. Hope the JV kiss and make up soon, this is doing my melon in.

Anything over 9p at the close is a tremendous day.... over 9.5p and that's corking, as long as it holds it's gains

I don't believe they have won the contracts, merely won the right to bid for the contracts, it's therefore uncertain how much of the 3.1 billion kitty they will win. Still positive news though.

The 5 day chart is beginning to look potentially promising , but it's too early to get excited yet I think. Fingers crossed

I did wonder about that. I just don't see the logic behind the panic sells today, am I being stupid? The intervention has improved oil flows, ok not the doubling we would see in an ideal world, but I think it's realistically upwards of 7000 bpd. Potential for further improvement - maybe, maybe not, but there's also the gas tapping to come too.... They verbally assure us opex is down (admittedly not confirmed as yet in numbers) and POO is comfortably above 60 bucks.... why sell at near all time lows?

IMO even at 6300 bpd with crude at its current prices I think MXO will turn a profit on the next results. I also think that 6300 is skewed at the intervention didn't occur at the start of the quarter, I think its probably more likely >7500 bpd. This "should" mean less likelihood of cash calls etc, plus we have the gas to develop. Im happy to hold personally.

TT, you are very knowledgeable about the industry - but youre letting your true colours show on that post. even if it turned out to be the case down the line, at this present moment in time you have zero evidence this is the case, its purely negative conjecture on your part and seemingly an attempt at de-ramping, flustering investors. Lets have some balance, and try and keep it factual.

Keep your eyes peeled for the next lifting folks - assuming the last one occurred on 6th Nov (do we know the exact date?) for 6300 bpd next due date would be 05/03/2018 for 7500 bpd next due date would be 12/02/2018 for 9500 bpd next due date would be 22/01/2018 so lets hope for some news late Jan early Feb!

yeah Jon that was the jist of where I was coming from, I think it should have improved.....but as you say we cant be sure

bear in mind I don't think the fix was completed at the start of the quarter, so that 6300 is avg over the quarter..........I calculated 7500 so wasn't a million miles off
