The director buys seem to give support to the idea there are no forthcoming issues to bring to light, but who knows.

This is taking another tonking.... worse than any of it's peers in construction or house building. As stated in other places, this is either super cheap or someone somewhere knows something we don't.

That massive sell at least partly explains the drop in spite of purchases (assuming they have been flagged correctly). This share is depressing.

looks like Teagle snaffled about 56k worth.

Can't see a real push north until Q4's or CPO starts a recovery ... at least it's looking stabilised for now.

Don crossing is due to be released shortly. The dispute with the council's has been resolved - although details are missing at present..

Obviously the other alternative as hinted here, is someone knows something and is buying accordingly.

Point of note, the price of CPO saw a bounce off a trough recently.. are people seeing this as a point of inflection? Dunno. Possible I guess. Also approaching Q4's.... could be people are pre-betting on a positive Q4. Either way makes a positive change.

I don't have a lot of skin in here so I'm just sitting tight, but I may top up if this ever stops falling and shows a bit of spike. I've also got one eye on short levels here. Currently still low, but increased recently.

Mind you at this SP the divi is kicking out near 11% return so even if they halve it again it's still a good yield! (If dividends are your thing)

Yeah was just about to backtrack, the SP decline did start just after the trading statement so I guess it's possible. Time will tell

"If" the AWPR costs required extra funding then yes I'd expect a sick cut... however there is no evidence that is the case as yet as far as I'm aware? For me this drop is contaigen from Kier, the extra 20m AWPR hit was announced ages ago and barely shifted the SP. Whether it's justified or not is down to your own judgement but what I will say is GFRD don't have anything like the debt issue of kier. Once AWPR is done things look a lot brighter here IMO, and "if" they do manage to get reimbursed some of the costs from AWPR that would really help.

Yikes this is a real falling knife at present! I'm guessing it's partly with Kiers statement about banks reluctant to increase loans to construction sector and the AWPR still not being closed out.

Looking through the press, I get the feeling the AWPR consortium are holding back from opening road sections until the council's agree to certain refunds on claims GFRD are making? Or have I read too much into the snippets... it's not really clear. Apparently balfour and gfrd are being brought in for some interrogation

I'm no chartist, however as the 52 week high is 278p, I'm expecting this to push that at some point with its recent momentum.
