It's certainly difficult to prove / be sure rugs and you may well be right.... but I've lost count of the times we've seen BIG chunky sales just prior to poor results / bad news. Hopefully it's as you think as some chump has just crystallized losses of tens of thousands for no reason.

The numbers on these big blue riband projects are colossal. So although 2% seems small, if it works it's worth it. But you are correct the margin for error is small, and if they aren't careful you end up with a AWPR!!

On the positive shortracker isn't showing any changes to short levels, so doesn't appear to be that.

Metamorphis the 20m hit is chump change.... the SP has lost hundreds of millions since Nov. Also post the results announcement the SP dropped to 800p and stabilised for a couple of weeks.... then as soon as Kier dropped the bomb at the back of Nov all hell broke loose.

For me this drop is prob 5% related the the extra 20m hit. Question is is there any hidden monsters we are missing. FWIW I topped up today as I can't find anything

PE of 3.6, yield of 13%... wish I had a crystal ball, these numbers seem too good to be true......and that's what's holding me back.

I'm not sure anyone knows. IMO as soon as any sign of a defined path forward and well start to see a recovery.... but we could be miles off that yet. General election, 2nd ref are all possible... I guess an outside chance of getting chequers through too. Who knows.

It's certainly being priced in that way lol. Ps my understanding is they aren't chasing the council per se for most of the claim, I thought it was the utility companies who f-cked them about?

Mind you FTSE250 as a whole is taking a bit of a tonking. A fair spread of companies losing circa 5% today.

The director buys seem to give support to the idea there are no forthcoming issues to bring to light, but who knows.
