I would probably argue 450 was a support level back in 2011 - but i'm no chartist. Also they were very different times in peak recession - I think 500 would probably act as a technical support if it got that low, as people tend to set limit buys at round numbers.

matamorphis regarding restructuring I read the RNS as implying they will be reducing the volume of construction, not necessarily trying to improve margins on the construction they do, and therefore I'm guessing attempting to increase housing etc to compensate. But that is just my interpretation.

That did cross my mind kernowken, new CEO's ha e a habit of dumping all and sundry out of the closet when they arrive - effectively blaming the previous CEO. But it is nonetheless uncertain what happens from here. I'm tempted to top up but I e been bitten by this before. Hmmm.

DB yeah it's possible it drifts back, but I would hope people see that the production uplift is likely to see DKL out of the mire, so hope any slide back would be limited. I for one am more likely to buy in on any slip backwards to support the SP. If we see a decent Q2 this SP seems cheap.... If we see any trend towards growth of CPO sub 8p seems cheap to me!..... if we ever get those blinking plantations going properly we should be breaking 40kT / year easily.

Q2's in 2016 were 88% of Q1, in 2017 were 64% of Q1 and in 2018 63.5% of Q1. Assuming 2017 and 2018 were outliers, and looking on the bright side, If we assume a Q2 of around 80% of Q1 this year, and steady Q3 and Q4 would put us on total CPO of circa 39kT. I think with our MCAP way down at ~12M that's undervalued for a growing company - even if there's minimal growth on palm oil alone......now we have the cashew business coming online too, this should be worth way more IMO. Although i do have a close eye on the debt levels.

Apparently January was pretty poor harvest, so you could take the viewpoint Feb and March must have been pretty outstanding to compensate.... it's possible if that continues in Q2, Q2 has the "potential" to be glowing.

Also taking JK's viewpoint if we had hit the typical 22.5% yield we would have had 15,650 T, so a ray of hope for potential growth.

After mulling it, I think my feelings would be described as reasonably satisfied, but not overly excited.

are down slightly on a normal Q1 too, only got about 21.5% yield this year, normally Q1's repeatedly hit 22.5% even on rough years.....but that is nit picking a bit.

I would describe them as average results not the disasters we've had recently, but still no real signs of the plantations picking up either. I'll be honest I was really hoping to see above 16,000 T with the in house plantations really starting to contribute….having said that I did say to myself anything above 15,000 T was acceptable - anything below 14,000T and i was going to throw my toys out of the pram.

Mike, I agree to some degree with you about debt - certainly if they are accruing debt and EBIT stays flat (or even lowers!). That said if EBIT finally starts a curve upwards then the debt has done it's job IMO

It was a risky play but I topped up when we emailed at 3.05p, I'm hopeful the Q1's show some recovery. But it's in the lap of the gods unless you have inside info.

I did worry about the massive sell too Rugs but doesn't seem to have deterred the MM's.
