Bounced off 3800 ish again, looking like a robust support level there.... shame in a way as I need lower to average down lol.

Lol would be nice but I seriously doubt it, not unless the economy implodes, and if anything like that happens it will be months / years away. On this swing I think anything sub 38 is looking like a low, if it was going sub 37 it would have done it by now..IMO

Bounce off 3800 !? I'm actually hoping not TBH, I'd like to see a further drop to enable some averaging down and increasing my holding. I'm going to be patient and greedy though

my personal opinion is be reluctant to crystallise a loss.....currently your losses are only on paper. Use this as an opportunity rather than a set back, if you have spare capital consider buying more to average down. however that's just my opinion and what I would do, not necessarily advice.

I agree 3600p is pushing it, but that's kind of the point for me, if I can get a top up at that price im in the cream big time....if not im happy with my initial stint at ~3950p, especially if it turns out to be a 8% dividend in 2017! O_o

im in with EZJ goldanoil, I think at todays prices its a bargain! Anyone thought about BT also - SO many bargains about at the mo with this panic selling

im not sure the decision necessarily means a delayed Brexit, I think the consensus is its more likely the parties involved will agree to trigger Article 50, however the SNP et al will certainly "try" and move the Brexit towards the left a bit......mind you its all guess work as usual. I have to admit I was expecting the decision to move sterling up, but its seems to have flattened off a bit.

certainly looking a lot more likely I will get my top up position of 3600 than I was expecting! Didn't see this coming as sterling has risen so much the past couple of days.

good spot GoldAnOil - I saw those figures too, but neglected the final 105p, so came up with 4*45 = 80 plus interim of 53 = 233p I like your figures a lot more lol ;o)

PS the article I read said the divi was going to be total of 233p in 2017 giving a return of 6% ish at current price.

Sorry I wasn't referring to shorting, merely spreading my purchases (bets) I.e 1st @ 3950 2nd @ 3600 (if it gets there) and keep averaging down. But I only average down as a rule, never up.

for me I see this as a bargain, but one with risk. Hence I put down a small tranche last week at 3950, if it gets down to 3500 ill top up double again. picking the bottom of the trough is almost impossible, but at least spread betting gives a chance of getting near.

To be fair I wasn't making any claims about fundamentals or the company, my bid was merely a gamble about a dead cat bounce. Didn't pay off so sold with minor loss. Hey ho

I bought in this afternoon at 580, anything that drops >15% is typically an over reaction (I hope!). Hoping for a bit of a bounce tomorrow

there's always going to be profit takers tricky, the rise up is never a straight line. Just hope the trend upward lasts a few days

is that right? How many shares are issued, my understanding was it was 299 mil shares. so by my calculations dividend would be 0.5/299 = 0.001672 pounds per share, or 0.1672p per share. with my average of 11.4p that gives a yield of ~1.5%, or have I ballsed that up? .....not that im complaining in the slightest, that's in line with what I was expecting, and as its progressive that will improve over the years. Shame about the Q4 prod numbers but I don't think most of us are "too" surprised.

Good Q4 figures should see us pushing 13.5p and on..... here's hoping!
