Actually, if you consider that Toumaz have already aired the possibility of monitoring blood glucose for diabetics in SensiumVitals, combine that with Google Watch, and consider the growing number of people with diabetes; what is the potential there? As a diabetic who has (currently undiagnosed) hypoglycemic episodes I'd be up for that for sure.

Compared to the Philips streaming offerings currently available, those have speakers connected to a "box" which connects to a streaming service via the internet, with the "box" using wi-fi to connect to the service provider. Some streaming devices use your existing hi-fi to output the sound. This tech allows the speakers to directly hook up to a streaming service provider with no other hardware, other than your wi-fi router obviously. In my case I normally stream from my PC via a PS3 hooked up to my amp - so I need 3 devices powered up to stream music in the living room, when my speakers could be doing the job all on their own. I agree Google may not be interested in the helth care side, but then again they may view it as a natural add on to Google Fit, or even the Google Watch.

Maybe it's me! News of a link up with Google on what is a pretty mainstream technology with expected revenues as early as six months from now would seem to be worthy of more than a 20% rise. This is a pretty safe tech, we're not talking google glasses here, this is speakers streaming directly from streaming services. At the least this should equate to a massive increase in revenue, at best a possible buyout from Google. What am I missing? Spotify?

I'm holding these for the potential in healthcare, but the big bonus is the diversity, and todays RNS is proof. Any agreement with Google is big league, obviously. Very happy to be holding these right now, and I'm revising my estimate of their value in 2 years upwards!

Not sure if anyone spotted this in the results yesterday? Pages 6 and 7 show there were issues, and also show that they have been resolved last month. Presumably the new trial therefore has a better chance of moving forward. All good, so why the drop in SP? Revenues up, new NHS trial to start, expected revenue positive by next year, several UK hospitals to deploy in the next six months.

I have to agree, it isn't good that news is not forthcoming, however the company have made positive moves to restructure their approach to the US market. The NHS is ponderous, but political pressure to save costs can only increase. I am still in, and will remain so as I believe the product will break through at some point, and in the meanwhile the companies performance in the DAB sector is a useful second fiddle. I'm certainly hoping that the incentive scheme for the board to get the share price to 15p will pay off. While the NHS is undoubtedly an important market, it isn't the only one. I have been holding another medical share which also was supposedly waiting for the NHS to commit, but they made a breakthrough elsewhere and the share price has rocketed. The US and Asia are both massive markets. I'm hoping for good news about the US changes for Toumaz on the 21st..

I wonder if todays rally will end up with a fizzle as the one earlier this week where a close to 20% rise drained away, presumably as short term profits were taken. Someone is shaking the tree, but it's going to take a lot more than that to dislodge me.

Good news or bad? Positive and decisive action by the board, but presumably underperformance of the distributor has not helped make Sensium the inroads that were expected so far. My money is (literally) on a short term hiccough (bad) being decisively addressed by a determined board intent on pushing Sunsium forward in the US (very good).

Well with those share options dependant of a sustained sp of almost 3x current levels that is certainly a very good incentive for the directors to make every effort to ensure the sp does go up, but ultimately its still for the market to be convinced. It is a very strong indicator of the boards confidence in the growth of the company, and on that basis has to be perceived as a big positive. I for one will be happy with my shrivelled stockholding to bear fruit, and a five year timescale for that will give a decent return on my investment to date.

Pretty sure the dismal sp reflects the markets similar opinion on the lack of good news.

Trouble is Antony Sethill live on BBC stated that the pilot would convert to a LIVE deployment "this month". Which was in fact August. Price understandably went up, but just as understandably dropped when that announcement didn't come in Aug, and bombed when it still hasn't in Sep. If you can't deliver 100% its probably best not to make announcements on national radio.

wudi - 12 months in already, in for the long haul. I bought in on my perceived value of the product after a few years in and out of hospital, I believe in the product and invested on that basis. I'm hoping the stress isn't going to put me back there! ;)

at least there is some reported revenue from SensiummVitals. Topped up, but this waiting game is wearing me out!

I agree, just topped up at 6.68, pretty sure last months announcement was just a bit optimistic re timing but the breakthrough will come.
