I feel your pain. I was in at an average of 9.7, and that was averaged down from 10.91 in Mar 2012. Offloaded some at around 4p and the remainder at 2.55p. Lost enough to have been a reasonable salary for someone - I had 500,000 shares. Total disaster.

I figured I could use the funds elsewhere to better purpose, maybe recoup the losses, and come back in here some time next year. Timing will be critical. My average was over 8p! I still believe in the product, but the leadership doesn't inspire, and I feel if the company isn't being effectively sold to the public then maybe the same may be true with their potential customers. I think someone else commented that someone with a bit of pizzaz and charisma would possible help push sales through.

I think this may be missing the point. Check out the Apple Special Event from yesterday - there was a massive push for their watch as a monitoring device. The emphasis is more on NOT admitting a patient, rather making sure a human being doesn't become one, and on providing preventative healthcare remotely. Yes, it was Apple marketing bull largely, and this would only be for those who can afford it, but like it or not that's the way health care is moving. Philips are already delivering in hospital patient monitoring and are market leader with a wide portfolio of monitoring products, and I'm not sure Toumaz are either offering enough, moving fast enough, or promoting themselves well enough to make any significant impact. I've watched my investment here dwindle over the last couple of years and sadly I feel unable to hold any longer, and I sold my remaining holding this morning. I wish anyone left here luck, but I've lost enough at this point. GLA.

I'm not questioning your BIL's perception, but exactly how much sway does the opinion of medical staff on the ground have? Given the current emphasis on cost reduction, value for money, surely decisions about the future working practices are taken at a higher level - dare I say a governmental level? I really have no idea! A week ago we saw some sizeable buys, perhaps speculating on a short term rise after the RNS which hasn't happened, so they sell and move on? Not a big loss for them if that's the case. TMZ was always a long term buy for me given the nature of their market, and other than a bit of delay I'm not seeing anything that would change my decision to invest. GLA!

I am also obviously concerned, not least because I am in at an average of just over 6p. However, I invested on a long term strategy expected significant returns by 2017. Losing 50% in the meanwhile clearly wasn't in my plan, but I can see break-even in H2 2015 and reasonable profits by H2 2016 if things continue as they are, with the icing on the cake being conversion of trials into orders on Sensium and the healthcare side starting you wipe its own *rse, at which point we should be looking at a significant upturn. Just my opinion of course, DYOR as ever.

If it is the article from Sep 2014 you'll see he asks the question "but why should this business by H2 weighted?", and he seems to suggest that the H2 2013 figures are anomalous. When you extend the results he posted in that article to include the H2 2014 and H1 2015 figures you see revenue, EBITDA and pre-tax loss, and cash burn do indeed follow a pattern that suggests the company is significantly H2 weighted. On the basis of that article I'd say he called that one wrong. Also on the basis of that H2 weighting I think Anthony Sethills' statement that "we remain on course to continue to grow the business in the second half of the year" seems realistic.

Lot's of speculation elsewhere about the RNS, and SP has dropped on what is perceived as not good news on Sensium. Long term I believe the prospects have not changed, and with the increasing focus on NHS efficiency any recent delays are likely to be more than made up for. "based on recent trials the Board remains confident that the fundamental economic and clinical value of the system will be demonstrated." Good time to top up, when orders start to come SP will only go one way. Group revenue is up, gross profits are up, endorsement by Google, this company is far from the ridiculous "sink without trace" comments I've seen elsewhere.

They have to be. This RNS suggests the OXPZero technology isn't actually delivering the expected benefits, if that happens with OXP001 as well this is done. Too much risk for me.

Nice! That is very positive.

My understanding, from the research I have done, is that the firsts tests identified some areas where improvements were required. These were made, and new trials entered into, which are ongoing. This is all nothing new. Pressure is mounting to reduce costs and improve services in the NHS, and this can only help bring these trials on.

You are I'm afraid, as already posted. The previous RNS on the 16th (both versions!) stated that results for Naproxen were due by end July. :)
