Hemo's Adventure24 Nov 2024 09:00
We’ve all invested in HEMO to make money and at times many of us have been critical of Vlad, for not looking after us investors. Surely that is what a CEO should be doing.
I have to remind myself that Vlad is not doing all this hard work for me, an investor, but for himself. This is his ambition, or his calling, you might say. His team will feel the same way. If they succeed they will be richly rewarded and have the immense satisfaction of knowing they have advanced medical science and changed some peoples lives. But it can’t happen without investors. So Vlad invites us to share this adventure with him and at the end, share in the potential rewards.
It's difficult to make money out of a company that has no income. If you are lucky, trading and shorting can help squeeze money out of the system at the expense of other shareholders. Either our share price reduces or it becomes more expensive to buy in. Dilution is inevitable as huge amounts of money will be needed for future developments. So we face constant headwinds and nothing will change that. Everything depends on CAR-T, CDX and CBR being successful and if they are, then we too will be handsomely rewarded. But how long will the journey take and will it result in success or failure? I really don’t know but I’m hanging in there and am determined to enjoy the ride even if we appear to take wrong turnings from time to time along the way. For me this helps take some of the stress out of investing. As long as we only invest what we can afford to lose. I wish I’d listened to my own advice!
