I'm not as clued up as everyone else and was slightly unclear about the links between HEMO and MD Anderson. I found a good explanation (on AI) which helped clarify things for me, and might be helpful for others too.

Here's how the relationship between Hemogenyx and MD Anderson plays out:

Role: Developer and manufacturer of the HEMO-CAR-T therapy.

Focus: Creating next-generation CAR-T treatments for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), among other innovations.

Thank you for your reply. HEMO are running on fumes but they keep going. 3 wheels on their wagon and they keep rolling along (if you remember the old song). LSE needs a balanced view. There could be great rewards for investors and there might not be. We should only invest what we can afford to lose but I got taken in and became greedy and invested more than that. I'm at peace with the decisions I made. I can't turn the clock back and change it. I think people look for hope, which is why i said it would be nice if LSE members concentrated on developments that showed something positive. The share price charts are always staring at us and they tell a different story. But there is always hope.

Pingu. You could show Micky a bit of grace. He says he regrets his negativity. He obviously blows his top from time to time and we all get covered in bad language when he does. Let's hope we get some news that even cheers Micky up.

I really don’t know why Stu, Tuan and some of the others keep posting negatively. Is there anyone on these LSE boards that doesn’t know they are losing money? Why keep posting to remind us? There are big questions many of us would like to know the answers to in regards to HEMO, but we would generally need hindsight to know which way it’s going. Or have someone with the gift of Prophecy.

I’m 80% down on my investment. That is scarier than losing another 20%. That might still happen. But I’m more interested in what HEMO are doing to improve the situation, first and foremost for the patients, but for us investors. There is a lot of positives happening. Whether I benefit from that financially, who knows, but I like to think I will.

I wish the LSE board was just used to inform us of interesting developments and I’m very thankful for those who regularly share them.

ScaleReady who are making the $100,000 grant available will be hoping to grow their business, and they will hope to benefit from their links with HEMO and that is totally fair. One positive for me is that nobody gives out a $100,000 grant if you think the recipient is not likely to be trading in a couple of months time. You would expect them to do some due diligence before splashing the cash. A positive message to LTH.

I think Mr. India is setting the scene for us and showing how more pieces of the jigsaw are starting to fit together.

Stu485 is reminding us that we have many hurdles to get over. Haywain has shown us real reasons to be cheerful with what he knows of the science and it does sound good.

It’s exciting but only invest what you can afford to lose. It does sound a good opportunity, but go in with your eyes open! GLA.

I thought I had a reasonable average price but I'm 70% down. There must be many who are 95% down or more.

That makes people say stupid things on the forum. Attacking each other, when each of us is well down, is counter productive. We are in it together. Share the frustrations but don't fall into the trap of abuse. It doesn't even help the people giving out the abuse.

It's an unbelievable story so far for us shareholders. Running a company of this nature by the seat of your pants is not recommended practice. I can cope with a low SP for a while if it's a temporary thing, but it's terrible to see them raise new shares at these prices. Surely there has to be another way to fund this scientific development. It would be nice if the BOD actually bought some shares. That would send a good signal. If not, could they sell shares to people who want to keep them instead of dumping them straight away. This could all be part of some great master plan. I wonder if Vlad and Peter sleep well at night.

This RNS is another piece in the jigsaw. I want the share price to soar upwards, but I'm focusing on the picture. The SP will do what it will do. Nothing we can do will change that. There are still lots of pieces of the jigsaw we are struggling to fit in, but the picture is becoming a lot clearer and it's a good picture. Be patient. One piece at a time.

I read a lot of the posts on LSE. I have invested in a few companies, lost money on many of them and have consolidated my shareholding on to HEMO! At least they are doing something to take their business forward. I’m about £50k down on my investment and that for me is huge. I’m hanging on to my hopes for the remaining £10k (valued at current prices) in HEMO.

I’ve accepted the situation and I’m surprisingly calm about it. I can’t blame anyone else for my poor judgment. Looking ahead, if all goes well, there should be a pot of gold. I might even get my £50k back, who knows. Timescales are a mystery. Expecting it next week only makes you stressed.

From my simplistic view, my share of the pot of gold is always reducing. For a company with no income it has to get money from somewhere. When more shares are issued that means my share of the pot of gold reduces. If a joint venture happens, they will take part of the gold so once again there is less gold for me. But if that pot of gold is sufficiently large, then I will be happy even though my share of it is less. Dilutions don’t worry me. I expect it, and the rewards should still be very acceptable, if everything goes according to plan.

Market sentiment also plays a massive role in the share price. Stu485 says he is not invested but I wonder why he has posted 1,016 times and all of his messages seem to be trying to run the company down. He must benefit in some way from this negativity but will never be honest enough to say how or why. Interesting all the same.

It's the same problem. They quote £1.80 to buy the shares, but when you actually go into the system, it's £1.73. That difference in price fouls up the system and it thinks those purchases are closer to the selling price, and shows it that way.

There were some big trades late yesterday, classed as unknown. 45,000 shares and about £82,000.

I guess they were sells, and maybe the placee finally getting rid of their holding. I'm only speculating on this though.

Since 2014 tuan6 has posted 3,648 times on LSE and I guess a high proportion of those relate to HEMO. Every message basically says that HEMO is a bad investment and shareholders have been shafted. We all know that, so I don't see why tuan6 needs to keep saying it over and over again. To be fair, he's not wrong , but we hope it will come right sooner rather than later. I would rather read something encouraging and Haywain's posts hit the nail on the head. We don't have much of our individual investments left and we are all losing money, but we have hope that it will come good in the end. It might take time. I look forward to reading a positive post from tuan6 in the coming months!

What is weird is why LSE and other boards show the Buying (Ask) Price as 189.50 but the Selling (Bid) Price is 180.00.

When I sign into Hargreaves Lansdown site and pretend to Buy shares I'm quoted 181.89 but to sell is 180.55.

Lots of transactions at 181.89 are going through and showing as sells because of the so-called wide spread. In practice it's quite tight. People are jumping in and stating that everyone is selling shares whereas the opposite is true.

Maybe the MM's are playing games.

Why does the RNS always start with "Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals plc (LSE: HEMO) is pleased to announce". Couldn't they say they are sorry to announce? I always felt that with the potential to make a big return on our investments at a future date, that bigger fish in the financial markets have a way or grabbing the lions share. There is no return at the moment, we carry on hoping. I'm used to the knocks in my investing, so I'm not going to let it spoil my day. GLA

Success isn't guaranteed with HEMO, but I would have sold up long ago if I'd thought they were going to fail. So by default I am confidently expecting good news. As soon as the share price shows any sort of decent increase, many people will sell to take their profit, especially those who bought at a low price. £16 a share would cover my losses, but if we get to that price, I'd be very reluctant to sell. Having been here for about four years, I do wonder what the next four years will bring. The usual ups and downs I guess. I just wondered how many LTH are itching to get out, and whether there is a determination for others to keep going and hopefully seeing something really wonderful further down the line.

I’m not intending to sell my shares anytime soon, so at the moment it’s almost irrelevant what the share price is doing. The lack of news is frustrating, but I’m happy for there to be a period of “hush”. Selecting patients, then administering the treatments and reviewing how they are doing. It is all deeply personal for the people involved and for their families. I can’t be worried about being down on my investment. Their need is greater than mine at this moment. I can only hope for good news for them If it’s good for the patients at the end of the day, it will be good for us investors too. It’s not a 5 minute wonder. These things take a lot of time and patience. However, I do keep checking every day to see if the good news has arrived yet!

I would be interested to hear Stu485's projections on what he thinks might happen to the share price if (and I know he doesn't believe it could happen) but if the tests are overwhelming positive and we have a real scientific/health breakthrough on our hands. Stu seems to be constantly talking the share price down and that is what is happening, but most of us are assuming that success in the science might equate to success in the finances too. Nobody can predict the future but we can choose to be positive or negative.

I’m just catching up with some of the posts from HEMOrealism. He warns a serious dilution in share price might actually happen. I think I expect my shares to be diluted, because as far as I know, HEMO don’t have any sources of income other than issuing more shares. Their accounts only show expenditure and a bank balance can only absorb so much of it. The risk is obvious so I’m not sure why HEMOrealism needs to constantly spell it out unless it's to create uncertainty. If CAR-T fails then it won’t be pretty. But Long Term Holders are here because we have put our money where our mouth is and are willing to support Vlad in the hope that his scientific receipes will produce something wonderful and will grow the value of the business to an extent that more than offsets any dilution. If we don’t think that will happen then we should look to bale out and take what little we have left.

There are other risks. Even if CAR-T is successful will pharma companies be willing to pay a realistic price for it and will any proceeds all be swallowed up in development costs for CDX and CBR. In several years time both those products might bring huge wealth to the company. I can't predict the future. We need realism but if I have the choice of being positive or negative, I’d prefer to be positive. The Vlad train keeps chugging along the tracks. Keep going Vlad!
