Incoming offer from Serica to buyout Enquest at 20p. It would be beneficial to all!!! Watch this week!!

Agree Sekforde. Plus Enquest has assets of 15% cash. Plus O&G wells outside NS which is a boon for both enquest and Serica, as if we buy Enquest we can reduce investment and output of NS, until Labour and Ed M see sense? Plus enquest have lots of tax losses to claim against like Serica to maintain momentum for 2-3 years. We, the BoD and CEO should make an offer on ENQ at 20p on Tuesday this week!!!

Agree Tav. The standing charges should be abolished full stop. Plus the green levy should be stopped immediately! The energy companies make enough money to support the infrastructure, this standing charge is just what we have had for the last 50 years from BT on a copper wire for our phone! Why re we being ripped off by the energy companies and Government??? OFGEM need to be mandated to publish stats and facts on all this and send a copy to every household, then we have the facts at hand!

If we buyout ENQ we get quite a few oil and gas wells overseas, not the NS. Plus we pick up tax allowances plus some spare cash from their 14% float!!! A no brainer and better for both companies!!

Plus why oh why did we close clean converted coal power stations? When these would have reduced the impact of the huge energy rises? Plus like France, who own and run 90% of EDF, did UK not own its own power? Decide on pricing? Bring back coal and coal power stations, clean ones, like Australia and others are doing and will do for 30 years or more, cheap coal and not reliant on external energy providers, wind or solar. I agree solar and wind are the future if 59% of our energy needs, but this climate change and net zero rubbish, is rubbish and fear tactics!

I half agree. Rusty and DEC have to keep buying when cheap and opportunity knock on the door! Plus DEC make more money than others getting the last remnants of oil and gas from these wells, have a far more expanse pipeline.! Plus then get paid to cap them economically and climate control wise!! So a win win, but Rusty has to be careful with debt and debt costs! Keep the 29 cents per quarter divi for next 2 years, then start to,increase divi by 5% a year!

With buybacks nearing the 25 million shares into areas yet by Friday for internal staff schemes. Next week all shares bought in buybacks will be cancelled and start to effect sp!!! Plus with rumours of buyouts, M&A with Serica or other? Plus we have lots of free cash, we have O&G outside NS, we have tax reliefs for 2 more years, plus we can like Serica and others scale back production and investment in NS, until Milliband and Reeves see the error of their ways with revenues dropping, tax raking reducing, plus job losses and outcry from Aberdeen and Scotland!!

Yesterday’s buybacks were great, should see the 25 million target into Treasury by next Friday, if not sooner. Then we should start to see 200,000 per day being bought and cancelled and see sp start to rise 1p a week at least. Until the money runs out, hopefully get to 18-29p before being bought by SERICA!!

Looks very likely by the end of next week, we will have hit the 25 million shares buyback target into Treasury for staff. So from 27 August buybacks should start to impact the sp if at 250,000 a day, the sp should start to tick up 1-2p per week?

All of the UK O&G companies need to hold a 2 day forum in London. Where they can put together a presentation of the real figures, impact, strategy and planning woes the decisions Ed Milliband and Rachel Reeves make!! Then collectively have someone representing them all, arrange to send and present, answer questions and plans on this meeting with the two of them in September?? I am sure they can find an economist / O&G expert to deliver on behalf of the 12+ UK O&G companies ?

Buy while cheap at 22-23p. It will get back to 32-34p range, but not until 2025 timeframe. There will not be a buyout I think until at least April 2925. There is lots to sort with the GAP insurance piece, once FCA finish their investigations, which is at least 10 months off. There is the latest administration of one of Orchards broker company, again this will take 6-12 months to see what impact and new markets they can use the monies in, once loans paid back? So UKRW poster , no I don’t think you will see a buyout even at 26p if it was made next month for at least a year minimum, if at al!!

ENQ BoD and CEO need to be looking to use the buyback monies towards buying more oil and gas wells anywhere just not the North Sea. OR to merge with another O&G company like Serica or Harbour?? Stop giving anything to Labour and let them see UK O&G investing overseas and reducing output in NS so revenues dry up for Reeves and Milliband is removed!!

Come on CEO and BoD let’s see a buy or a merger to catapult Serice sp into the £4 range. Plus profits and growth from moving away from NS unprecedented taxes and death of NS oil and gas industry!!

Buys are losing 5-1 against sells. Just first 2 hours this morning 500,000 sells v’s Les than 100,000 buys. Yes this is being manipulated for II’s and company BoD to sell out!

WTF are these silly little buys?? Either buy a thousand or two or don’t bother!! Are these people or investment companies just bored??

If it was turning and true investors or investment companies believed the hype, not just speculators getting in at sub 3p, on a hope and a bet. This share would be at 9-12p by now after the trading updates and future borrowing and plans, but NO, a trickle of speculators!! Yes I am shorting but this is a dead cat bounce!
