Even if they are there will be plenty of buyers in the UK and US. Plus with next ex divi date on 28 Nov and next one announced. The shirters will be out by February and DEC inFTSE 250 so lots more II buys.

If they are just ticking by, plus if they don’t spend the remaining £4.5 million on buy backs, maybe in January 2025 announce a 1p or 2p dividend in March 2025, I Will let it rest and not skate and write to ENQ IR about buybacks being pitiful! I sold 13,000 at between 10.29 and 10.36 and did nicely. But they showed as buys!! The sp will I believe drop and stay at 10.20 - 10.25 from tomorrow until x div day.?

Why doesn’t Starmer and Milliband go the whole hog, like with the coal mines. Close them all down , cap them all, both oil and gas, buy the companies out!!! Then buy in all our water, electricity, food and steel etc. Then we can all work a 3 day week and read at night by candles!!!

Jim and Terry, yes sort of agree with Picked Peck contributing on this BB, but he is various BB’s and shares which is his prerogative, but on other shares and the odd / odd comment / opinion on here he comes across as a de-rapper/negative about DEC.

Why the huge drop pin so? Great for me and others to buy in at between 9.85 and 9.95. This sp should be at £11.00 or more!! I think this selling is chitters getting out plus markets lowering price for shorter to go and the big investor houses to buy in cheap and ready for FTSE250 and sp at £15??

Now Trump is in watch this sp bounce to to 150p next week. He will drill drill drill in US and DEC will do well HBR, Shell and other will be on NYSE very soon, no revenues for Ed and Rachel Reeves. Agree the O&G Industry need to work together, nominate 2-3/Lead representatives and then approach Government with needs and demands!! But having compromise and consequences laid out to Ed and RR. There needs to be offsets and tax relief for investments,,plus acknowledging that with O&G industry, increased fuel costs, unemployment of thousands, plus less revenue for RR. Threaten and have plans in place to move abroad, floaty on NYSE and show Labour they are wrong. NOT to move towards a greener set up, but realistic it will it happen by 2030 without bankrupting UK!!! If they don’t listen and offer compromises and relief then SQZ, BP, Shell, HBR, ENQ etc need to move!!

It will drop to 125p area, unless we see an Acquisition outside of NS, plus some cheap buys in NS, in the next month! If US elections put Harris no idea Harris in power then we are getting nearer 115p.

This so should be at + £2 but CEO and BOD are inept at best!!

If the CEO and BoD and the large investors don’t get an overseas purchase on the drawing board for January 2025, and buy some cheap old NS reserves and wells from BP/Shell/HBR and others with tax losses incentives then this sp will drift and stagnate at around 125-135p until April time. Then pick up before next ex dividend dates in June, with outputs down and offsets lowering, it needs good news and a defined strategy. It is just floating at the minute!

Mr Space - You think we are going to be in a more stable situation in 10 years? This lunacy and cost will be 40 billion a year, plus loss of 5,000 O&G jobs and loss of 20-39 billion O&G investment in the NS. Labour will lose revenue and we will still be 50% dependant on O&G in 10 years time, down from about 75% now, even which I doubt Millibands predictions for renewables and the Carbon capture 40 billion which is Labours HS2 and will not work! The O&G CEO’s need a Cobra meeting with Starmer and Milliband and some professional OFGEM and NG experienced leaders on Monday next week!

Milliband is giving contracts and business to his friends, brother and other Green Eco idiots!! Just like the pandemic! Plus he is hell bent on spending 20 billion a year building hydro, solar and wind farms until we squeak, plus the 30 billion carbon capture idiocy!! Plant trees, plus he needs to build energy storage, we export 59% of our oil, gas, electricity produced as we have no where to store it. Sending it to France and Norway and then buying it back at a 39% hike in what we sold it for, MADNESS!!!!!

It will take 15 years minimum to reach Net Zero, even if they shift the goalposts and targets and exclude bits. It will cost 15 Billion per year, cost 150,000 list jobs, plus there is not enough skilled workmen or women to build the Wind, Solar, sea and hydro power units they need to even meet 50% of UK power!! The country and UK people, those paying gas and electric bills that we will be worse off and not making any difference to climate change or Net Zero!!!!

Agree what a pitiful buyback amount when over 2.5 million shares traded yesterday!! Come on BoD ofEnwuest get a grip!
