The buys and sells of late are very poor and odd. Why bother buying or selling 1 -30 shares when they are only 24p?

I am not convinced on climate change! There has not been long enough to study and compare yet! Plus the global population is growing exponentially, which has to be fed, homed and supplied with clothing, cars etc. All this contributes to change, however when China has 1,161 coal power stations , little old UK is minuscule in our CO2 output, the Global G7 and G20 need to look at global population control, global car and things production to cut back!

Both Aussie and NZ have coal reserves like UK for 100 years, but we refuse to use it even though it is cleaner and cheaper than Nuclear and Wind and Solar given the up front costs and materials, batteries etc and maintenance.

Both Tories and Labour over last 20 years have been woeful in not building or keeping coal power stations. We could be independent and not reliant on Russian and Middle Eastern gas and oil!!!

SQZ is a sure bet with dividends and able to claim tax losses etc for 3 years at least, plus 500 million to spend on a shiny new asset outside of NS. What is not to like?? SP should be north of 170p.

GB Energy will take 5-7 years before it makes an impact and starts to deliver! It needs 10-15 Billion a year from Starmer to even touch the sides with Green wind and solar energy being anywhere near close to providing 20-25% of UK power, even if they start today! Plus Starmer has given them less than 2 Billion this year to start, woeful and just all hot air!!

Why? We are now just waiting for the BoD to liquidate the last 7p per share to share holders!! Or is the BoD got other ideas or a T\O imminent??

Poor presentation plus of todays buys and sells, sell 1 million , buys 500,000. People are jumping ship and moving to SQZ or other industry shares !!

They needed to have announced a divi of 2p in November with a declaration date 12 September and x-divi date 15 October. But no, all we get is much of the same bla bla bla, no news or plans!!

Agree KO - ENQ need to announce a 2p dividend this week to be paid in November and again next year to kick start the sp and interest and investment in ENQ. It works at Serica and HBR, and others. Plus is better than buybacks , but reducing debt or a M&A outside of NS would be great!!

No company has a crystal ball, as to what will happen globally, both politically/ economics / or within O&G. So we have to trust the CEO and BoD know what they are doing!! Massive over selling and sp falls, but PI’s selling straight into the hands of II’s and Mercuria who will be adding a few %?

Why don’t ENQ CEO and BoD announce an annual divi of 2p starting in November 2024?? That should do something to the interest and sp of Enquest? Maybe they are negotiating a merger with Serica?

Very good synopsis and we should have a little optimism that the new CEO buying his own shares and new BoD have a new outlook and motivations??

I am trying to second guess the Serica BoD and CEO and who and what options, companies and non NS activity and assets are out there for M&A or purchase?? Simple interest as a shareholder with 100,000 shares and 15% of my SIPP invested in them!! Simple!

DEC are massively into capping and de-commissioning old wells, mainly in the USA. But a merger with Enquest could be a good suitor? Revenues and non NS.??

I think a max of 25p, is achievable and a good price for both sides!
