Am I alone in thinking that Greg Clark the Business Secretary, is so busy with important matters concerning our departure from the European Union, that all other decisions outside of this will be held over in the pending tray, until matters until the outcome of a deal (if any) is concluded? This in my opinion if true, could easily take us well into 2019.

afrc.....they most certainly do, read their latest balance sheet. very few small companies have their bank balance and free of any overdrafts/borrowings.

I am not a long or even medium term investor here, as soon as the share price reaches around 1p I will probably be selling. The present drop in my opinion is temporary, and with news of drills (which I expect to be allowed by Greg Clark) will rise towards my target. If there is to be any significant uplift in price it will take many years to achieve in my opinion. That is long term, which I'm not interested in.

That cost approx. £3.4m for a buy back of just under 20m shares at 17p each.
What if now there are not enough sellers? What will the BOD do with the £4.56m that is still left. Will this just be 'lost' in the next balance sheet along with other monies possible due, or will it be repaid as a special dividend?

I have to admit I never envisaged RBD falling this far without a negative RNS. But this could be a good time to buy a few more for those with an appetite. Remember about the old adage about buying when others are fearful OMO and G.L

Brexit going tits up maybe.......No bad thing in the long run though for AIM as the EU is pushing through more transparency in the markets, especially hitting the City. Shorting prohibited in some EU countries like Germany.

afrc.....First thing to remember is that some of these large holders have been involved in DGB (now thruvision) for many years and paid multiples of what the sp is now. That should answer one question, yes they would like as many as possible. The price would go up as well, if the number of shares available are reduced by the company enticing the few PI's left to sell, by giving them a premium with a buy back and burn. Remember too, that at the time of last years divorce (not 100%) between Digital Barriers and Thruvision it was stated that sales in Thruvision products was anticipated to be in the order of tens of thousands of units within 5 years (that's already 1 year oldt). We as PI's are effectively frozen out of news whilst the 'big boys' are kept in the picture all along. I have very strong thoughts as to the reasons why. Remember also the II's would be out of this like a shot if they thought there was little left for them. For me it all adds up to an extremely good reasons not to sell. The sale of the company to X as you put it would be the icing on the cake, and a nice retirement present for Tom Black if it happens, The II's would not be disappointed either in my humble opinion. OMO and G.L whatever you do.

All these trades are flagged as 'N'..negotiated trades. In other words swaps between major Institutional investors with delayed trading. As I have previously mentioned the company will not want to buy back its own shares at a high price. How long before another offer is made? surely before details will need to be released about real and up to date sales figures. What will be the first dividend payment? OMO and G.L

I personally think Colter will be agreed as it is off-shore, and if found to be financially viable will be horizontally drilled with little impact on the environment providing the oil spillage possibility can be sufficiently negated. Perhaps the permission if granted will be accompanied by certain restrictions attached, and that is the hold up. On shore fracking is a different proposition, what is OK in the United States will not be permissible here in areas of natural beauty and adjacent to population centres. The 'jury is still out' in many minds regarding other aspects of fracking, and not all protagonists are 'green' (although most are).

luckyman and trying......Firstly, although the Government and the County council wished for fracking to take place at Kirby Misperton people power has won the day, at great cost to Third Energy. Remember the way 'Maggies' poll tax ended. Secondly I think companies like Third Energy may now rethink becoming involved in areas where there is a great deal of resentment against this form of extraction.
