Tbf, I agree with you from a share holders point of view, but we have no say in that regard. I was looking at it from a prospective buyers position. It would be cheaper for them to buy now, rather than later. Whether any buyer would wish to make a hostile bid and go straight to the share-holders if necessary is a matter of conjecture. But large U.S corporations are not known for sentimentality.

Tbf....I would 'buy into that' other than in 2 years time any bidder would probably have to pay considerably more for the company.

1 Does the company operate in a 'niche' market?
2 Has all the initial groundwork and advertising been done?
3 Does the company mainly operate in the same geographical area?
4 Has the company repurchased its own shares in the open market?
5 Has the company a capable and experienced management?
6 Is the company free of debt?
7 Is there potential for greater expandable economies of scale?
8 Is there a solid and reliable distribution network?
9 Has the company got major institutional backing?
10 Has the company got any major law suits on going?
11 Would the acquisition add to earnings/profitability fast?

Does anyone know of a company that can tick all of the above boxes?

As has been said on numerous occasions over recent days until Greg Clark gives the 'thumbs up' the rig is going nowhere. The contract for both Colter and Wick will include a provision (there may well be a cost incurred) should the delivery be delayed for this very reason. RBD should issue an RNS within the next 2-3 days outlining what is happening. Whether they do or not will be an indication of the value they put on their share holders.

afrc...Both Thruvision and Digital Barriers have a large foothold now in the United States. Both now have production platforms in the U.S that only employ U.S citizens. With the United States especially under Trump (very much on the offensive against imports from foreign countries, especially in defence and security) both companies are at the forefront of any possible contracts. This only gives me comfort in knowing that medium term if a t/o is coming it will probably be from a large U.S company. OMO and G.L
Oh, by the way I think the major (over 3%) and minor institutional Investors (under 3%) now have approximately 98% of the free float of 129,780,210 shares in Thruvision.

Market Makers know they are in the position to impose a great deal of influence in stock trading when it suits their needs. This position of power enables them to move the markets at any time up or down. Never forget this is even more so in the case of AIM market. Thin trading for them only strengthens there desire for more manipulation.
