Could have been because it was held at Brooklands Hotel and they didn't have options on the timing ? To be honest I would prefer Dunsfold Park at midday. Whilst it's more tricky to get to there, there could be more chance of seeing some of the new kit. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Looking back through past Notices of AGM the meetings have always taken place in April. That being the case I would expect to hear something this week, as they normally give just over 3 weeks notice. Will keep my diary free for the last week in the month, just hope it won't be held as early in the morning as they did last year - pain in the butt tackling M25 at peak hours !

BB, I seem to recall at last years AGM Bond opened his speech by saying one of the most common questions he gets asked is, is Abramovich still a shareholder ? Bond then followed that with a No ......... so I took that as RA had sold up completely.

Daz, the unit was still in the UK mid July, so doubt it reached the construction site, the earliest the end of July. I'm not expecting to hear any news until 3 months from then which is the same demonstration period Acciona run the Everywh2ere fuel cell for, the beginning of this year.

Seg was my recollection about the Mace comments close .... or am I losing the plot ?

Klunk I noticed that too and assumed he put something in that original post that he shouldn't have ? I recall a large chunk of what he relayed was previously discussed at the AGM but I'm sure he did mention something new about Mace and that there could be some interesting developments in that regard over the coming months. I note that Mace didn't get a mention in the interim report yesterday and yet AFC did a lot of analytical work for them, so hopefully there will a pay off some time soon.

Kier is a big player so that is good news. Wonder if they were the unnamed company mentioned at the AGM who provided usage data to AFC on the 500 diesel gensets they operate over their sites ? More construction companies to follow, that's for sure and if all goes well, which I fully expect, then the plant hire companies will step in and buy units on a much larger scale. Would be nice to see Balfour Beatty join the line up now....... fingers crossed.

Daz , Bond only mentioned that the project using a PEM fuel cell was expensive !! The original trial to use our L series fuel cell would have run on cracked ammonia, so it would have been cheaper to run than a PEM jobbie.

AB mentioned at the AGM that feedback received from Acciona on a project using a fuel cell (PEM) was that Hydrogen was very expensive. Hence their interest in our fuel-flex system.

Sturm, according to ADVFN data about 50% of the trades today have been ATs (69% yesterday). That being the case to compare BUY volumes to SELL volumes will be misleading as AT transactions are reported differently to that of O trades. If you get 5 minutes may be worth reading the guide issued by Proactive Investors some time back, which will better clarify things.

Markets wanted products with smaller footprint or higher power density. Power Tower will satisfy many and liquid cooled AEM fuel cell, being developed for ABB, will take care of the rest. Come on AFC.

Daz, assuming the PEM fuel cell system Acciona has on trial is that in respect of the EveryWH2ere project, which delivered to site in January of this year, it would be bloody amazing if AFC could develop and announce a new product, from feedback received on that, just 2 months later !!!

Daz, feedback AFC received from Acciona regarding their trials of a PEM fuel cell on a European project is hydrogen is very very expensive. Hence their interest in the flex fuel systems AFC offer.

Thank you MPO818. Obviously things have changed as the RNS dated 24th March now points to mid year for deployment in respect of Acciona and Keltbray. AB said at the AGM Acciona system would be despatched in June.

Garonne, can you point me to where Bond as stated the HFC was supposed to be deployed in early 2022. I've read through several RNS and haven't found anything along those lines. Thanks

According to ADVFN there was a UT transaction go through at 08:05:25 for a paltry 2 shares at 40p. Best ignore that one then.
