Another one who has bought shares at high prices and has huge losses.

That sounds like more of a hope than a guess re a short closing.

It looks to me like this share price has further to fall.

The problem with THG is a CEO who pays too much for acquisitions. He is good at hyping and useless at business.

Ingenuity only get small contracts for little bits of a business where the business itself can't be bothered to do it themselves.

Too much competition for nutrition and beauty.

As well as researching a company before buying the shares, it is imperative to research the CEO too.

It looks like win4call holds thg and revolution beauty shares. No wonder you don't like my posts.

Only posters who have bought these shares at much higher prices and have losses object to my posts.

That could equally have been a sell of 666000 thg shares.

The London Stock Exchange doesn't allow the recording of buys and sells so this website uses algorithms to guess whether it's a buy or sell. Hence the many, many mistakes.

Plus, you don't know what time the trade was, it could have been at any time during the day and it's only being reported now as a late reported trade.

The lesson is to never read anything into what you believe to be are buys and sells" trades.

Never buy a share which has been on a long period of downward momentum. Long periods of downward momentum means the market is well aware the share is a failing share and failing company. Asos, Boohoo, REVB and THG are all on long periods of downward momentum. So don't buy them.

Yes sometimes you need to sell at a loss because you can lose everything by holding on to failing shares and failing companies.

With regard to Boohoo, Debenhams and Mike Ashley. I think Mike Ashley realises Boohoo did him a favour in buying Debenhams. Debenhams is not a growing business and Mike Ashley knows it.

He knows where the money is, sporting clothes and upmarket clothes like Flannels plus the future of Frasers Plus Buy Now Pay later.

I'm sure Mike Ashley would buy Debenhams if he had to do this to get Boohoo to use Frasers Plus plus helping Boohoo out of a big black hole of debt.

I can't see Mike Ashley paying any more than the £50m Boohoo paid for it. Debenhams wasn't a growing business before Boohoo bought it and it's still not a growing business online for Boohoo.

Mike Ashley looks for growing businesses like Frasers Plus Buy Now pay Later, a brilliant move for him particularly as retailers pay nothing to use it.

Never, never average down in shares, it's a sure way to lose more money.

So, if you're doing this or have done this, then you need paid help to stop making such mistakes.

What's so wrong with subscribing to something like Stockopedia or Research Tree or both or even something else that looks worthwhile.

In a job you get training on how to do it.

What's the difference?

Paid help for investing in shares is investing in yourself and your future.

It seems irrational to me that people can't see how worthwhile something like this is, whilst at the same time are losing a small fortune in shares.

As I said, try it, it won't break your bank.

Being obstinate or stubborn about it is also so irrational.

Each to their own.

Wouldn't have lost all the money here, in Boohoo, Revolution Beauty, THG and many, many more like Cine, Amigo, Superdry, if you'd subscribed to something like Stockopedia.

People who expect to be good at it without doing all this are kidding themselves.
