'Vast Resources plc, the AIM-listed mining company, announces that, following the announcement made on 16 December 2020 regarding the final credit committee meeting focused on the asset backed debt facility, the Company has been informed by the international banking institution “the Bank” that the credit committee is unable to proceed with the approval of transaction until the completion of certain corporate restructuring at which point the Bank will reassess the transaction. The Company has been given to understand that this decision is unrelated to its current mining activity and is not a negative reflection on the Company’s Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine.

The anticipated development of certain aspects of Vast’s wider portfolio has prompted the evaluation for a restructuring and rationalisation of Vast’s corporate structure that will enable investors to have a variable exposure to different elements of the current business, both commodity and jurisdictional. That second paragraph has not been satisfied - nor have details been provided in due course

Based on the above 'likley winding up', the bondholders would also get nothing

Senseman - based on the RNS, if you want to continue your objection, you need to find someone who can attend the 12.00 meeting and is willing ( and trusted) to act as proxy for other shareholders, otherwise its pointless noise

Your understanding is based on what? The above quote? If so, why have VAST failed to achieve asset backed lending before, as recently as 6 months ago?

Casa, if the guidance in the new mining plan becomes reality, it shoukd come good (from here anyway) but will still be a number of months imo, but compared to your 5 years that should be bearable, just not for those looking for a quick flip

Mr008, do you actually believe that the market makers (your MMs) are some dastardly entities that control the share price purely to disadvantage investors?
They make their money 'on the spread' - will keep enough shares on their books to satisfy the minimum market trade figure, but don't run their own positions beyond that .
Suggestions that they have anything to do with VASTs current position or share price is laughably naive and/or misleading

No, apart from suggesting that certain geographies were ok - implying that others, were not

If the capital reorganisation had been one of those requirements then I'm pretty sure that AP would have stayed that in the RNS - why would he not?
Plus that capital raised, as one of the condition precedent, 9th Dec RNS is currently being burned through to enact the new plan (plus corporate overhead) - so either they knew they needed the capital to change the mine plan in Dec2019, months before they told us, or they now dont have enough capital remaining to satisfy that aforementioned credit committee?
