Based on both VASTs own website or the companies own assessment of its Romanian assets when APMGs holdings were being incorporated (bought with shares) into VAST, the Faneata tailings were not listed as being as asset of note.

They spent money on creating a JORC compliant report in 2017 ish, but I cant recall if the feasibility study that was meant to follow ever happened, or if they were actually granted a permit to process the tailings

asimple - dates of previous quarterly production numbers broadly seem to follow 4-5 weeks later. There is no definitive timetable I'm aware of

ZoOOM that's fair enough, it's just a shame that at the point where VAST SHOULD be starting to produce more concentrate that the price has fallen so far - it will just put a lot more pressure on production volume.
If they can survive without further financial 'hiccups' until 2023/2024 then a copper price rebound would be fantastic - the challenge us the next twelve months

ZoOOM, Ianjo, all I was doing was providing a link to a different point of view - if the analysts were always right then they would have foreseen the drop from $10000. There are always so many global factors involved (never mind when those can be exacerbated by things like Covid or the Ukrainian war) so any forecast has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Logically with the drive to electrification then copper demand should increase but a global economic downturn could move out the timescales by a number of years

Something else I cant quite reconcile wrt the Sekaka deal is that KX36 was meant to be high grade and there was a new(ish) processing plant on site, so why after Covid restrictions have been relaxed havent BOD either done a deal on mining the pipe or raised cash to do it themselves. This revenue stream ( diamond price has been positive) could have then played for TR work?

Ziquarat, as BOD have no source of revenues then placings will of course happen, although I would suggest the next one is still a few months off - why? 'Cos the amount raised last time was larger than normal and its mainly been desktop work rather than field work since then so the cash would have lasted longer.
I would suggest post the next TR drilling campaign and results would be more likley.
The only large fly in the ointment I can think if, but cant remember the details is where BOD are up with regards to paying for the Sekaka transaction

The drop wont be helpful, as it will obviously reduce $revenue thus reducing margin
However, copper price is still above original assumption calcs that were done when BP association license was granted - obviously a lot has changed since then.

Re: analysts suggesting copper price pullback is an opportunity - possibly so, but would be easier to believe their assessments if they'd predicted the pullback in the first place

I'm sure that would have been the plan and I'm not saying this is the case (as I wasnt a placee) but with the copper price and markets generally moving south, they may think cash now is better than waiting for a commodity price recovery.
