I think we need news but also nervous bearing in what the SP tends to do when we get it. I removed all my stop losses a while ago, shame I did as I could have bought the shares back cheaper! The world has gone mad when these shares are dropping like a stone and bitcoin shares are going through the roof. I stupidly sold what few I had of those (at a good profit) because I feel uncomfortable with the concept and don't understand it. Live and learn.

Although I didn't agree with what was said or how it was said, I do feel everyone has their own opinions. For the record I have filtered both rampers and derampers rather than see their posts. I also voted for Porky to carry on posting in his recent poll because he has a right to his opinions. If I find it gets too much then there is always the filter button. I quite like his optimism and if the price reaches his £54 then I can afford the place by the sea I have my eye on :)

Shocked at Porky's comment re Shaun who has undoubtedly put a huge amount of work into this.

I bought some more at 950 then 810, didn't think it would drop further. In fact thought the AZ news might make it go up. I'm nervous too but have no more money even if I wanted to buy some. This is by far my largest holding.

I went to help at a vaccination centre this week and had to have a test before being allowed in. The person organising said he hadn't had a positive test yet among the many volunteers - I did wonder if that was because any positives had been missed. Even the person who had Covid at the start of the year and was told she would get false positives for 90 days had a negative result.

I disagree with some of the comments here. Even if 2020 supplies were invoiced in 2021, they should still be accounting for those supplies in the 2020 accounts - they will show on the BS as a debtor.

The whole market is awful. I wouldn't sell this close to the figures coming out (would have done a few weeks earlier). I have got a limit buy in if it does happen to drop a bit lower though.

Aceure - you cannot carry forward any unused CGT allowance to the following year. However you can carry a loss forward but you need to have reported it on your tax return.

Marlene - no you don't have to mention an ISA on your tax return.

TrekEMonder - Unused personal allowances for Income Tax cannot be used against Capital Gains liability. CGT has it's own allowance.

Even if your profits are covered by your cgt allowance be aware that you might need to report the sales - the following is from HMRC help pages:

You need to use these pages if your gains are more than the annual exemption for the year or if your sales proceeds are more than £49,200 (for 2020/21) even if your gains are less than £12,300 (for 2020/21).

I know of two people who were vaccinated with left over vaccines too.

Mine was the finger prick test. My brother did one two some time before me. He thinks he had Covid back in March (loss of taste and smell which still hasn't resolved) and his test was negative.

I did this about four months ago. There wasn't any name on the kit I was sent.
