Thanks for posting the message pico - we are all in the same boat apart from those who have deserted and swum for the shore (??). Like ski et al, have not sold a single share of a substantial holding - in fact had a little top-up at what I thought wrongly had to be the bottom last week. I guess BJ can only do his job and work towards the objective we all acknowledge - no-one controls the vagaries and whims of this AIM market, particularly junior miners who require funding. DT piece on the booming fortunes of RTZ giants today, the recovery of iron ore prices and high demand still in China etc. puts the cheap price of their ore in the ground at around $50 per tonne. That values the BAO ore mountain at around $35billion in total - just a tad more than our current valuation of £30M!!

Nor did we swinger, but keep your pecker up and a few conservative additions to the pile is not a bad idea at this level.

Depends who you pay attention to on here if you want insight. And as you say, lets have 3 cheers for all the doomsayers.....and you weren't alone in buying in today at these ridiculously low levels.

Because, if you read the maestro dornod, we are all"blinkered courtiers". He is an international financial wizard and knows so much more than any of us. Not quite so good on the racing scene, where horses wearing blinkers go that bit faster.

You don't need clues - its all a bit obvious, even to someone with no experience of international business and project finance. Perhaps a dash of common sense helps.

Into DOR myself for some running around money - only recently, not like your heavy mid term faith! Agree looks very interesting with some game-changing news to come. Hope your timing viz. BAO is right. My own view is that there is unlikely to be any sharp recovery here, but at these levels the long game is a definite play. Meanwhile we have to ignore the demented ravings of empire, who now quite obviously has a shorting agenda to pursue.

It won't make a scrap of difference to this crazy slide, but cannot watch these levels without a small display of defiance, so have topped up 10k at 7.94p. Has not made a lot of change to my average either, but if Robin's crystal ball is anywhere near clairvoyance, I must be close to the bottom. Just nice to read some recall to facts and figures with a hopeful and positive outlook from the stalwarts.

Had a few crises during my 30 years in biz, as no Bank funding at any stage, so you grit your teeth, work a bit harder, do ridiculous hours and get through. Accordingly, feel a bit helpless now as it's all in somebody else's hands and I don't even know them! Good luck with the property portfolio - wish I had got the sense to do the same.

Nice to see some positivity at this testing time from Robin, pigeons et al. Sold my biz in the early noughties for the king's shilling and a nice salary which I would never had paid myself! Hope BAO do not replicate that move under current pressures. Retirement pot now dwindled - but like a lot of you guys, would be buying back in now to lower the average. As an aside Robin, do your £25/30 millionaire mates hold BAO shares, and if so - what are their intentions?

Guess you could call me an "uber-bull" ski, as I have three-quarters of life savings in here! Have refused to sell a single share and kept buying on the long drop as a confirmed believer in the long term result. With nearly a mil in here have decided that the only option is to tough it out. Yes, I am worried - but this recent dramatic fall is panic stations and illogical. Surprised that BB has joined the rush for the exit after all his positive views, but do agree that mention of the reduced production forecast in a media interview was an own goal by BJ. It now looks at best that once this has bottomed out (surely 6p must be the absolute lower limit bearing in mind the value of the resource) it will be a long slow climb back to respectable levels. Anyone remember the colour sergeant in "Zulu", played by Nigel Green? "Hold the line, lads, Hold the line!"

Nor are you empirical! If you choose to put a negative spin on every move made by the BOD of this company - especially when the historic positives remain unchanged - suggest that you take your own advice, sell and move on. At this crucial stage in the BAO story, I for one have no intention of discarding 5 years of patience and accumulation at this level of SP - nor will many other regular posters here I suspect.

Can't see too much wrong with the RNS. Something like letters from America - some are just keeping us entertained as we jog along waiting for the main news. Catch got it right with a simple explanation of how vital the DFS becomes in a project of this size and complexity in a relatively undeveloped country. Emp's points about the big players not caring about the details are a bit like saying "if you fancy the look of a house, just buy it - don't bother to get a proper survey done!"

Don't think there is just one of them cylinder, the trades are several and too small. Just a number of PIs who need their money and get fed up with waiting and no news. Empirical has a point and lets hope that sticking it up the bum of a chartered bank has some effect - although I doubt it!

Taking a similarly positive view to BB and trbw, it is untypical of the BOD to be schtumm for so long. I can't see any major problems that would be the cause of this - so at the cheapest level for yonks I have cut out some dead wood and just topped up for 20+k at 10.11. If you are a BAObeliever, it has to be done.
