Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Cancelled in later trade information. How do they do that?
Agree JH. Perhaps the Brokers have learned as we have that forecasts based on expectation are rarely fulfilled with this share?
Tony - your longish term estimate of a BC price around the 85p/90p "sweet spot" seems sensible to me from supplier to consumer considerations, and still showing a comfortable profit for those invested here and elsewhere?
Someone on this board not making sense!!! Perish the thought!
Did my buying yesterday when we were freely available in the 34/34.5 zone. A wee bit re-assured by the LOG administrators statement, and do not think we will be at this level for too long IMHO.
Thanks Jemand - good to see that LOG are taking a similar view to us LTHs regarding the current sp of IOG. As such we can discount them when large tranches of obvious II shares are traded in the near future.
Its all about the level you are happy to trade at Phippsy - and 20k top-up at 34.50 suits me fine. Volume counts as well of course, and the reaction we are seeing in late trades is almost certainly PIs getting involved at these rates.
If AA was buying to build up a position, this would be rising not falling. Will wait for things to settle then look to top up at around this level.
Good detailed response, and cannot fault the tactics regarding debt repayment. Just need to keep the general market informed as work progress is made towards enlarging and delivering the resource! In turn, this might discourage the persistent Ii sellers at this depressed level of sp?
We seem to be defying logic yet again, and dropping when, with all the current evidence, we should be rising? I don't think profit taking answers the question, but some may have theories on the subject?
You probably meant "Scrooge" - but I reckon we would all be very happy with 65p?
If it is profit-taking, they are all a bit late to the party as you could have comfortably sold last Thursday at 37.95 for almost any amount.
Gator - its hard to understand when O & G is generally buoyant across the board - so why the Sell-Off here? Trades being reported accurately today - so the suspicion of another glitch in the works is ever present with IOG.
Very positive RNSs from both parties, and a definitive timeline for drilling schedule at Serenity. I like the reference to "a very large oil field" - so early September should be a very interesting time. Will be stocking up as funds allow in the meantime.
Excellent week's trading and nice upward movement to give this momentum before much anticipated results arrive in early August, together with divi payment and new rate. GLA
The main problem springs from the exaggerated spreads that the MMs seem to favour on this share. With these in place, it gets very easy for the reporting board to get the nature of the trade wrong. I have learnt to live with it, and a sensible analysis of what is going on normally works.
Got my second 25k top-up right on the Bell @ 28.63. Was expecting it to ease down as it often does - but today was different and kept on trucking to the end of trading. I have every expectation of this opening higher for the final day of the week - and with divi to come and the next monthly rate to be announced next Friday, would agree with those who predict 30p+ before results arrive. Keep posting and GLA!
Got in for a 25k top up at 28p but looking for another one as it runs away past my average. Always comfortable to trade in this environment. Once they announce next divi rate next week, this could carry the 30p marker IMHO. Many thanks for all the regular background details from Stas, Tony, G G G et al.
Think we need to let this ride the wave now - hopefully without any injudicious selling.
Useful info as ever - many thanks Sailor! Have a nice weekend.
