Steve - I like that post, very good, not posted much recently as its too easy to get drawn in , just thought your post was worthy of mention and probably echoes the sentiment of many of us. GLA LTH

Personally I don’t think there was anything wrong with the RNS - the only thing lacking was the proof of concept - proof of concept and we would all be saying how brilliant it was and sp would of shot up and not down, AZ did give positive vibes that lead us to believe something big would be in the RNS and fridays fiasco was the result of us thinking the concept would be proven,
I don’t think we are far off and I’m sure AZ is aware the proof of concept is needed to catapult us on to the next level - when this will happen no one knows . Have a good day all.

Completely agree Steve - if last Friday taught us anything it should have taught patience and not to expect too much too soon , AZ has hinted that the summer months is when investors will see the most growth - if LTH get this in their heads it will be a realistic timescale that will not disappoint imo. For sure there will be news to come not sure it will be tomorrow ( but it could be)
Looking at the RNS I presume AZ will be allowed to explain the many positives in it and elaborate so long as it's not deemed market sensitive news - unless it is accompanied with a new RNS , Ive read last Friday's RNS many times and with the addition of proof of concept it would have been everything we were hoping for, according to last Friday's RNS we are ever closer to that groundbreaking news, GLA LTH

So glad I've been busy at work all day and not had much chance to check in , it started from the get go this morning , I had noticed a marked improvement on this bb up until yesterday, 100% down to people who are not invested and feel the need to jump on anyone who has something positive to say - I'm not talking about boom, rockets & exagerated sp predictions , I'm talking about anything positive from a reliable source such as share talk last RNS and Q&A session.
Not a bad day at all considering - let's see if it continues the rest of the week. GLA LTH

pitiful are the posters who have cynical cheap shot speculation and accusations with absolutely no proof/ evidence to back their claims up, ridiculously obvious bias.

Three reasons why imo sp will move up slowly

1. Sp very low at the moment

2. New investment money ( Isa allowance)

3. Large trade buys

Spark - I agree - but this is where the traders can have a positive impact - with the sp as low as it is imo there will be plenty buying in to push sp up - yes they will sell for profit but the sp will continue to move up slowly toward where it was previously - accounts are due this month and no one should be expecting them to be very good at all and this is why AZ needs some extremely positive news to counter the effect.

With regards to all the negative posters who seem to patrol this bb looking for any posts that resemble anything that could be deemed as positive and then jump in with a negative post and try to suck all the pleasure out of life - this bb is for investors to share opinions/ideas , post links that may help others and generally discuss the good bad and the ugly - I read everyone's post and don't filter anyone we are all entitled to our opinions and we still live in a democratic society - none of the negative posts have come anywhere near to making any difference to my investment - all the negative posters are exactly like "SYME" - syme is a market disrupter - non invested negative poster are bb disrupters.
I happen to be very positive about the future of syme ( if I wasn't I would not be invested) I am entitled to be positive and if my posts come across as being positive GOOD they are meant to be. GLA LTH

I don’t engage with people who constantly bash Syme , all my posts are supported with paragraphs from the recent trading update - Q&A session or share talk, if others wish to post and want to be taken seriously to gain any credibility they should support their opinions with evidence - if they have any - otherwise it’s pure speculation with an ulterior motive that only they can answer. Shariah platform

Since its launch, the Shariah-compliant version of the Platform has seen strong levels of interest. SYME continues to work with the Shariah Funding Specialist towards a Shariah compliant capital market placement.

This statement suggests that several funders are already in place “Shariah funding specialist” whoever the funder is for the mena regions they will have to be Sharia compliant - looking over the trading update it’s everything you would want it to be save for proof of concept - looking forward to a positive week of trading and the possibility of an RNS. Inventory Funder

On 30 October 2020, Supply@ME announced its decision to collaborate with a single Inventory Funder ("Investor") for the first securitisation issuance. As noted, this investor has expressed the preference to invest in a more diversified portfolio by country. In this regard, SYME's UK team is working with the Investor to complete legal requirements and agree terms reflecting a global portfolio (in particular in the UK and UAE which both operate under UK common law, a preferred jurisdiction of this Inventory Funder).

Note: the single inventory funder was to be used for the FIRST securitisation issuance.

It now seems likely that the funder is very keen to have 1st dibs at the UK & UAE and work has already started on this process.

The cancellation rate and speculation around net figures will automatically improve on proof of concept - fact is at the moment companies who have paid DD fee have not received their funding - this in turn will have a negative impact on companies who may have previously shown interest -
think how this will change with proof of concept when all companies learn that the process is fully operational in all regions - is scalable - and the process as been made quicker,
I know some will disagree but imo proof of concept is of paramount importance and should be AZs priority - it will answer so many questions and we should gain traction, likewise with regards to the funder(s) we are not in possession of the full facts - as I read it the main funder will basically pick and choose which companies show a greater level of completing the transaction with very little risk - if they do not like the deal this can be passed down to so called lessor funders - imo this means funders are available and AZ needs to get the 1st few securitisations over the line with whichever funder is keen to agree terms. If AZ had given the RNS we were all hoping for we would be calling him a legend - the main man- hero etc. IMO AZ still needs to be the main man - his idea, concept etc only he knows how it all fits, agree with a lot of what’s been said with regards to how AZ has got guided us this far amidst a global pandemic and all the uncertainties that come with it , I can also appreciate AZ has hyped it up and not been able to deliver on his hype, overall I’m happy with AZ and think the news we were hoping for will come soon and we will all be singing a different song. Parm - the emphasis was more about proving the concept than actual numbers, I do see your point though but think luckybob makes several supporting factors why we need proof of concept and quick . ATB

I have emailed AZ - not sure if I'll get a reply or not - I have got a reply to be fair on 2 previous occasions and if I do get a reply I will post it on the bb.

After the initial politeness and well wishes I have informed AZ just in case he wasn't aware of the general consensus - the need to prove the concept should be his number one priority.
After the suspension and Friday's RNS investors need to know the content of the common timetable - one client through the process from anyone of the regions however small would return confidence to the market and loyal investors - going for rocket launching numbers is all well and good but it actually only requires one, if there are issues surrounding funders then he should disclose this in an RNS and state what the issues are - AZ may be aware of what is needed and it may be the case he cannot deliver this at the present time - if this is the case at least let us know.

As stated earlier I probably won't get a reply and I'm sure he will have been inundated with emails but if you don't ask you don't get. GLA LTH

Doc - 100% agree stocking loans have been used for many years - companies have to be vat registered - vat man and hmrc have no issues with the use of them - it’s the difference between having 10 cars on your forecourt or 50 , guy next door uses them and an agent comes around once a month to check his stock - think he has upto 12 weeks to sell the vehicle before he has to repay the stocking loan - although it’s not exactly the same as symes model they are very similar and it did help me to understand symes model, not enough people understand what you are saying or simply don’t want to accept it and that’s the reason your posts are largely ignored - people would rather debate and argue their point rather than accept there are no issues.
