HippyDays you are quite correct about the SPAngel 92p target. What some may find more useful though is the facts about broker targets from the time BMN became a producer until 2020 when Covid made just about everything unpredictable!

So using the Analysts Reports published on the BMN website here is a breakdown of each Report from SPAngel and ARC from 2017 to the end of 2020.

Cindercone a correction on point of fact. During 2017 / 2018 broker targets were achieved on a number of occasions. I pointed this out at the time during at least one of the heated debates on this topic. To say they are never achieved is simply not true.

Having said that I take little notice of broker share price targets other than they might indicate an expected direction of travel which may attract investors. In a manipulated system like AIM (in my opinion) it is almost impossible for anyone to accurately predict future share price based simply on fundamentals, even without considering the impact of global issues like Covid etc.

What do you suggest then Cindercone. It’s easy standing on the sidelines saying broker forecasts are meaningless but that is a bit meaningless in itself. Those forecasts are packed full of stats and analysis. Ok sure that doesn’t guarantee that there are no errors or that their conclusions with regard to future share price will be accurate, particularly if there are major changes of circumstance (eg Covid, Ukraine, etc), but it does provide a data set that will aid investors in drawing their own conclusions.

Don’t be quite so quick to pull the trigger.

LSE identify anything above mid price as a buy and anything below mid price a sell. With the mid price today at 5.20p almost every buy appears as a sell on LSE. You must not rely on the buy sell split given by LSE … you have to use your own intelligence to work out buys and sells.

For most of today sells were in the range 5.04p to 5.07p and buys were around 5.14p / 5.15p

There is no way on this planet you can say with ANY confidence that they won’t sell electrolyte in 2023.

Do you know who they have had conversations with and how close they are to talking sales? Of course you don’t and it’s still only 2022. The plant will be up and running in H1 2023 yet you think they won’t sell ANY electrolyte in the next nearly 14 months?

By all means be critical but at least use sensible assumptions.

I don’t know what to suggest to help you cope with the rough and tumble of discussion forums other than what I suggested earlier, especially to stop posting nonsense. I appreciate that you may find this very difficult but I remain optimistic that you can reform your character.

Beginerman you should know by now that I don’t do share price forecasts or explanations. I am sure an expert like yourself would do a far better job.

I concentrate on what the company are doing, and I am confident they are taking the business in the right direction by expanding and diversifying production and working hard to control and reduce costs.

When the energy storage business takes off that will be a huge bonus.

Strange that Beginerman when huge VRFB projects are underway in China and new projects being announced globally on a regular basis. Perhaps the problem isn’t VRFBs or knowledge about them but more likely your lack of research. Still anything to spread negativity eh.

VRFBs are just one renewable technology that will help solve a looming energy crisis but even a modest share of the grid scale storage market will make this a very large industry … but then you already know this. Te large projects in China will demonstrate this to RoW

Can you tell me how many enquiries BE have had with regard to supplying electrolyte ?

Can you tell me how many contracts are currently being negotiated subject to completion of the plant and to the product (electrolyte) meeting relevant standards?

I think there may be a lot more going on than your rather shallow assessment seems to suggest.

And on the subject of vanadium prices I read elsewhere that AsianMetals today report prices up in all markets. Let’s hope the start of a general rising trend.

The CEO that has acquired TWO primary vanadium plants and a mine, is completing an electrolyte manufacturing plant and has begun work on a mini grid and VRFB at Vametco.

He has placed BMB at the heart of the Vanadium industry as a miner and processor and is developing the energy storage side of the business.

And now has stabilised production at Vametco and increased production at Vanchem.

Not bad for just 5 years. Some might think the ridiculously low share price represents a great investment opportunity.
