Roger whether or not I agree with your opinions about the viability of BMN is not the point. As long as your opinions are based upon facts you are entitled to them.

However your disgraceful personal attack on the reputation of the CEO I do not accept. You have made a series of ridiculous and unfounded claims about the man that are as far as I can tell just about the opposite of the truth.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Very easy for a keyboard warrior to sit behind the cover of a computer screen and s*l*a*g off the CEO and spout nonsense knowing that the target cannot defend themselves.

Fortune has worked hard for many years to build this company and continues to do so. His reputation amongst those that count is very strong.

As you may know I don’t rely on current share price as a long term investor. I monitor the operations of the company and make my decisions based upon that. You will forgive me for dismissing the usual negativity from you given the huge progress made over the last year or so.

Unlike you I have published my opinions and supporting evidence in great detail here. Look back and read through it.

Eastocks I won’t dwell on the points you raise except to say that you are highly selective about which people you have selected to claim the “rubbish team around him”.

You conveniently leave out the senior managers of each of the two production plants, the senior mine management, the project managers of the electrolyte plant, etc etc. These people appear to be doing an amazing job, fixing Vametco, getting kiln 3 at Vanchem into commission, controlling costs, nearing completion of the construction of electrolyte plant, running mining operations with very low staff injury rates and so on.

Fair enough to voice what you consider to be criticisms (and few would disagree that PR leaves much to be desired I would think) but to label the entire management of BMN other than the CEO is frankly unrealistic.

I agree with your high praise of FM (not that he is perfect) but what is being achieved in a company of this size and complexity will be very much a team success. Without strong middle and senior managers this project would not have got this far and future success depends on good collective performance.

You are entitled to your opinions which I respect but you only scratch the surface of who the teams surrounding FM are and how they are performing.

I have read LawrenceH’s posts going back a week or so as I wondered why your tone was so aggressive towards him. What I did notice was positive enthusiasm. Well frankly if I had invested that much money I would hope I was enthusiastic about it! I am sure you would agree it would be madness to do so otherwise.

Within those posts there is a mixture of facts and speculation plus his own opinions. Not entirely unreasonable on a bb such as this. Personally I take all speculation on future numbers as at very least an uncertainty but people are entitled to post them. For instance electrolyte production volume is a big unknown but shareholders can legitimately give their opinion if backed up with facts and reasonable logic. LawrenceH has done that. Does not make him ignorant or a liar if his speculation is found to be off the mark.

I also noticed that LawrenceH hands out a bit of abuse and and has received some. Well … 2023 … new year … year of respect and courtesy? Would make this a much better place to exchange info. Can but hope.

Cindercone slight correction. I have found this reference to the minigrid in LawrenceH’s post on 31 December:

As we can all see their is no suggestion in that comment of this offsetting load shedding losses so my previous question still stands.

Cindercone I think you have gone too far with this statement:

I may be wrong but I can’t find a reference by LawrenceH to the minigrid. Lots of comments about the potential of the electrolyte plant but nothing about the minigrid. Have I missed something or is this your error? Given the tone of your own comment I think you need to clarify this by quoting the posts from LawrenceH that are relevant.

V1per sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope you respect the fact that we all deal with these circumstances in our own way. For many years this bb was very supportive of those who had health issues, and I am going back to a time before my cancer was diagnosed.

One of the most respected contributors to this bb, Corbine, faced cancer challenges with dignity and received huge support here. Sadly he succumbed to this disease, a great loss to his family and to this bb. Others faced similar challenges and again were rightly supported here.

I was diagnosed 4 years ago almost to the day and at that time I am pleased to report that few showed your intolerance of discussing health issues on this platform. The support I received was truly heartwarming and I will be forever grateful. Even people that did not share my views on BMN were generous in their comments.

Sadly the tone of this bb has shifted and many have moved elsewhere to discuss BMN and other matters. This is a loss to all of us. It would seem that some here value cash over humanity. I will never share that opinion and will continue sharing and supporting.

You remember things any way you like but let me tell you I never shirk responding to issues involving BMN and / or FM. In fact I have challenged opinions at least twice today on for example the loan.

I am a great believer in the power of positive thought and have a low opinion of those who would constantly spread negativity. According to my prognosis I should have died 2 years ago but I did not. The doctors tell me I defied the odds but cannot say why. I am convinced that a contributing factor has been my positive approach and I have on occasion used that as an analogy for BMN.

Hope not despair and if the company is doing well in progressing towards its target of low cost vertically integrated vanadium platform (and in my opinion it most certainly is) I remain supportive irrespective of the current share price. If the subtlety of the anology has escaped some here that is fine. I shan’t lose any sleep over that.

But I will continue to post as I wish … you can be sure of that.

Thank you LUCAN. We have seen that story. It’s great news.

There are parallels with my situation but I have multiple tumours…. Bit difficult to deal with. However the new drug I am on I hope continues to reduce the tumour sizes. Early days so let’s see how it goes.

My experience tells me to remain positive and do not give up, even when the situation may seem desperate and despite what others may say. Two years ago one Oncology Professor effectively suggested I should stop treatment and give up. I told him he does not know me very well. Glad I ignored him.

Hippy you exist only to make mountains out of the tiniest negative mole hills. You have my sympathy. Life must be miserable for you.

Some might argue that if there are tax benefits for Directors borrowing from a company that is positive management of their affairs. Perhaps we would all do the same given the opportunity. Except of course perfect little saints like yourself!
