RK I'm sure there was nothing wrong. However you may have noticed that I always finish with Just My Opinion, or similar.

I know through various dealings with admin they tend to be more generous if clearly labelled as above. Doesn't allow anyone to claim it was advice or misrepresented as fact.

Just a thought as I have no idea why any post by you would go unless an entire thread is removed.

And that was a brilliant post. It perfectly explains why some here fail to distinguish between short term personal gain and professional drive. FM and MN are classic examples of driven people living a life alien to most ordinary 9 / 5 folk.

I have many times said that I have remained positive here, even during testing times, because I invested in the skill, determination and professional drive that I see in FM. For that reason I remain as confident as ever about BMN's future under this leadership. I'll let others worry about low ball takeovers.

Jonnymaz a fair post but in my opinion the debate today has not been so much about what is legally and technically possible. Many of us will be familiar with that.

It is about how likely it be to be successful. I would say £1 ..... Zero chance based solely on what I know about the BoD and the pi's here.

Daisan may I ask if you have ever met Fortune Mojapelo? If you have then I find it incomprehensible that you would expect him and the BoD to recommend a price of £1. I believe you are severely underestimating just how ambitious he is for his BMN baby. A number of us spoke to him at one presentation about the risk of hostile takeover (possibly 2015 or 2016) and he indicated that they were already taking steps to protect against this.

"I suspect if someone came in with a £1 bid, for example, that this would have to be recommended by the board and would probably be approved."

I have many times stated my target is 75p to £1.50. However that is based upon just Vametco at phase 2 production levels. However I am gaining more belief in the successful development of BE, Lemur, Brits, Mokopane, electrolyte production, and further increases in V production and expect to significantly raise my target.

Frankly £1 would be an insult. Given the strong pi long term holder % I see no chance of that getting taken at all seriously, even in the very unlikely event of the BoD recommending it.

Perhaps I am the only one (doubt it) that has reported our new friend and requested identity check. Not worth engaging with until verified friend or fake.

I guess with the sp set for take off our shorting cyclist is very nervous, as would be anyone betting on downward movement of sp, AND SO THEY SHOULD BE!

In 2017 sp on 26 Feb was 8.36p, having been flattish for several months. By 30 April it reached 23.54p, an increase of 182%. With the possible news flow over the next few months and a likely continued recovery in price of vanadium I see nothing to block a similar increase ahead. Lots of variables to consider for sure, but the cynics have continually questioned future possible sp rises yet they happen because the company is making so much profit .... and markets seem to like that!!

Solid start this morning and a very exciting 2019 lies ahead.

Your last post displayed wisdom and generosity. I look forward to the day I can look you in the eye and shake your hand. In fact that day I hope will give the opportunity for me to meet so many kind, intelligent and well informed people from this bb.

And one person in particular I hope to see on better terms than on a previous occasion some years ago. Ophidian last time we were poles apart in our views on certain issues. The "party" will give us the opportunity to meet as fellow travellers on the same road. I look forward to greeting you as a friend.

Huge thank you to the the many brilliant and informative posters over the last 10 days. Your contributions have really helped me to get through what has possibly been the worst period of my life. That includes a very difficult couple of days with severe hallucinations thanks to a drug allergy I was not aware of.

Problems in surgery led to a severe bleed and what started as keyhole became open surgery.and a huge L-shaped wound held together with 38 staples!

Managed to walk on second day and did a 300 m walk 3 days after surgery.

Taking every step I can to speed up recovery and dance on the tables at the summer bash. Still plenty of pain and exhaustion but very positive about being at home. Another week or so before I learn what the beast was and whether other treatments required.

Name that film: "It will be alright in the end ... and if it's not alright ... It's not the end". Certainly my philosophy!

And one can only dream at this stage where the share price will be in the end!

Glad to see an apparent crack down on trolls if that is what Admin are doing. Not at all concerned at short term share price. It feels like this rocket is stood on the launch pad and ready for lift off. I will be on that ride. Will you?

Can I add a few words. It occurs to me that wherever we chose to go the debate should be about standard issues ie access, quality of hall, catering, grounds and views, accommodation, bars! (Just kidding Doc) etc. in the case of the EIC I doubt any of those things would be a problem. So why a debate? On ethical grounds some are concerned others are not. Therefore it seems to be a potentially decisive choice for all the wrong reasons. That alone should rule it out.

We need a venue that unifies us, not divides us.

Just to let you all know that a cancellation came up and my operation is tomorrow.

Hoping for positive outcome. Southampton is major centre for liver cancer work.

Unlikely to be posting much for next few days as may not be in a fit state and will need to concentrate on recovery.
