You would do well to remember that many here have a significant investment in BMN and feel very positive about the progress being made by the company. They are entitled to challenge shortsighted negative comments without being saddled with childish labels.

On the other hand a recovery in vanadium prices, greater productivity and a good dividend policy then we run the risk of shorters getting burned and the sp rising. All depends on how folks look at the same scenario

I am quite happy for people to disagree with me. Frankly posters have been doing that for over 5 years yet I sit on huge % profit so I have great confidence in my own approach. My positive attitude to all things BMN means that I don't worry about minor imperfections such as 'self imposed deadlines' because I step back and look at the big picture. And the view is great!

And if I have leant anything in the last three months it is that a positive approach is absolutely essential in life. Trust me I have far more important things going on that I could be negative about. If I can be positive about surviving cancer I can assure I won't be losing a minutes sleep over a publication date.

So ... no need for anyone to apologise for disagreeing with me. In the end I will be right and we will have a dividend policy which in weeks and months down the line no one will care when it was published.

Remember all the flack I took on this bb for simply taking an objective view about John Meyer? Yet now the knives have been put away and SP Angel comments are once again accepted by most on the bb.

Life is so much easier when you take the long view!

I totally agree with you Daisan. But here is a question for you.

If lets say a great Dividend Policy is announced in 10 days time, sending the sp up, who would care one jot about the date it was announced?

Let me answer my own question with a guess. No one! The talk would all be about the content.

So whilst we can all agree that it is desirable to meet deadlines, in the real world there can be many things that disrupt a smooth path to delivery, often beyond the control of the company.

Looking back over BMNs history it has never been the date something was delivered that determined the long term share price. It was the substance of the development. And I see no reason to change my views on this.

I do expect to see the usual suspects complaining if no dividend policy is published today, but the world will carry on and we will all get over it.

Yacht other than the fact that we haven't had an RNS (YET) what evidence do you have for a delay in the dividend policy?

I should add that whilst I would like that announcement today I am not that bothered if it was subject to a short delay ... I am far more interested in the content of the policy and have enough patience to wait for the RNS.

As a slight distraction I have been reading through the Feb 2019 Corporate Presentation and noticed this interesting point on Slide 43 Corporate Structure.

The entire cash cost of acquiring 74% of Vametco (a fully staffed vanadium mine and processing plant) was $48 million !!! They equate this to just H1 2018 Ebitda.

So not only did BMN purchase Vametco for a very cheap price, it was paid off in just a few months profit. That means that BMN is DEBT FREE.

Try and match that stroke of genius all you other aspiring vanadium producers ! How much will it cost them to build a processing plant? How will they raise the funds and how much will any debt cost them? Just my opinion but it makes BMN look like a great investment.

And we eagerly await a dividend policy announcement. Yet some pi's are selling ! Good grief.

Very exciting year ahead in my opinion.

Faramog if BMN deliver a dividend policy as they said they would, I will most certainly continue to say things like "Fortune always delivers stuff".

I hope we get an RNS tomorrow as indicated by BMN, but whether or not that happens the only thing that will matter long term is the policy itself, not what particular day it was delivered on.

Let's get 'real' please.

I do understand impatience and having expectations disappointed, but things need to be kept in proper perspective. I might be alone in this but it is my opinion that Fortune has a rather good record on delivering his business plan.

Cindercone it is very arrogant of you to imply that your opinions are any more 'real' than other posters. You are entitled to your opinions and to express them, but that is all they are .. opinions.

However I do have a problem with you constantly attacking others that have a more positive view than your own. It has now become so irritating that I am going to place you on filter again. A pity.

For the record I don't have a problem with reasonable balanced posts (that is not the same as constant negativity) but that does not justify the glass half empty cohort trying to undermine the credibility of those that are more supportive of the company.

Hope your investment works well for you and doesn't cause you too much stress.

Just a reminder of the difference.

It is Vametco employee scheme, not BMN.

It is a BMN dividend policy, not Vametco.

I agree. I am only expecting the announcement of a dividend policy, because that is exactly what BMN said they would produce.

I don't intend to speculate on whether or not a special dividend will be paid, as like everyone else I have no idea.

My point is that as a longterm investor the dividend policy is important in attracting new investors / institutions / SA investors etc. That should feed into the longterm sp and that is precisely where I and perhaps some of the more enlightened shareholders here are looking.

Impatient and glass half empty posters have their own issues to deal with. Life is too short for me to make these my concern.

Hope that helps to explain my confidence and calmness in relation to my BMN investment.

Cindercone the announcement of a dividend policy is a big deal, whatever you may think. In the big picture it is likely to make a significant contribution to the sp. If folks wish to fixate on the short term sp that's their problem.

Like many other positive LTHs I am here for the big profits which will come with long term investment.

Sadly there will always be those who wish to bring negativity. On a day when a good RNS was released I find that attitude astonishing and best ignored, as I am sure you would agree.

That's my opinion and thanks to all who contribute. We all benefit from that shared knowledge.

Briefly I am recovering well from surgery. Fighting as I think would be expected of me, and am currently defined as 'cancer free' as surgery was successful albeit complicated. Now facing 6 months of chemo, which is longer than I expected. Cholangiocarcinoma does not have a particularly good survival rate, but I am hoping that my 'good fortune' in having appendicitis means it was found early (stage 2) and therefore my chances are better than some.

Reading the bb every day but will be restricting participation for reasons that I hope folks understand.

My health comes first but BMN delivering on its promises and the sp responding appropriately would certainly go a long way to improving my 2019.

Gambit like you I am pleased that a deal has been reached that allows the workers to share in the success of the company. Seems only fair.
