Next 18 months very exciting29 Jul 2019 12:11
Suffering a little this week from Chemo side effects. However what a great tonic to read a positive bb (big thank you to contributors!), share price rising and V price up again.
Last week we saw signs that the V price had levelled out and perhaps starting to rise again. Vanadium Nitride (basically what Vametco produces) showed some of the strongest increases. Good to see that price move accelerating today.
There have been a number of negative posts in recent weeks complaining that the sp hasn't risen in response to good news. Well the falling V price would certainly have been a significant drag on the sp. However I believe that is only part of the story.
Most of the recent RNSs have outlined how BMN is building the business. For example Brits Maiden Resource, intention to purchase Vanchem, announcing a dividend policy, possible JSE listing, progress on minigrid and electrolyte plant, etc. These announcements in themselves are very important in signposting the future direction of travel, but they do not announce arrival!
Over the next 18 months that will change as each of these developments is delivered. For example Vanchem deal likely to close in next 3 months adding nearly 1,000 mtV to production. Hopefully Q2 Vametco update will show increased monthly rate of production (as demonstrated in March). Expect delivery of Mokopane licence and listing on JSE, hopefully this year. Further down the road perhaps the first dividend payment. May see mining begin at Brits and /or Mokopane (bit speculative?).
And BE has the potential to deliver a host of exciting news.
Expect also progress on the Coal to Power project and possibly revenue from sale of interest in ATM.
Perhaps progress on further increases in production at both Vametco and Vanchem.
Next 18 months looks very exciting for BMN shareholders.
Just my opinion.
