Incidentally Mokopane licence could drop any time. As I recall Fortune seemed confident that it could be feeding Vanchem within the year. That could be a nice little shock for any shorters!

Alfa I have searched their website but can't find any reference to a Mining Licence. Do you or anyone else have any info on that? Seems to be a rather important point, given the history at Mokopane! Perhaps I have missed something?

Gkb47 I think you will find that CharlieLondon is entitled to express his views, just as you are entitled to challenge them. Suggesting that he may be GL's PR man or a chum sounds to me like a childish and unsubstantiated slur. Not worthy of you.

Charlie is correct that much of this mess was in place before GL arrived. Whether he has the ability to turn this company around remains to be seen. I prefer not to prejudge the outcome. Others may have a less rational approach.

Chinese net exports of vanadium have varied from 7,500 mtV to 10,500 mtV per year in recent years (from Terry Perles' presentation).

If as reported in Loudspeaker's post from MetalBulletin Chinese traders are not interested in the export market at present then that could severely dent the supply of Vanadium to other markets around the world. TP assumed that China would export around 9,000 mtV pa. Losing a part of that supply at a time when the VRFB industry is starting to expand must put pressure on V prices in Europe and the US. That is just common sense!

This quote from MetalBulletin contradicts the naysayers who claim the trade war would reduce demand in China:

"The export price for ferro-vanadium in China rose for the third consecutive week, boosted by a significant increase in the domestic market stemming from healthy demand ..." Doesn't sound like this is changing any time soon.

Common sense tells me that this looks like a very healthy outlook for V suppliers like BMN. Sooner or later the sp must reflect this.

Just my opinion based upon both research and common sense.

So despite what the naysayers try to claim, BMN is moving in towards a situation where they will be generating huge profits from an expanding supply of Vanadium Nitride for the steel industry AND a second fast growing revenue stream from electrolyte leasing or sales.

Maybe a third revenue source from supplying VRFBs

For those with the foresight and patience 2019 / 2020 and beyond should be looking very exciting.

Common sense tells me that those being negative in the face of such FACTUAL information have dark motives. They just don't like good news. I guess it undermines their evil deeds and makes it harder to fabricate lies without being challenged.

With China FeV In the range $40 to $42 and as we understand it Vanadium Nitride attracting a premium to that, a rise of 2.97% yesterday is more than a dollar a day. How long before Europe and US prices play catch up. No doubt with that discrepancy Chinese traders will become reluctant to export. That should begin to impact on V supply to other global markets.

Just my opinion but based upon the facts we are seeing it seems to make sense.

Berserker it is only you that bangs on about altruism. Nobody is claiming that. But there is a community spirit here whether you like it or not.

And yes you are coming across as a cynic. You have not been around very long on LSE. Perhaps with a bit more experience you will learn to recognise who you can trust and info is good and of course the opposite.

Some discussion about risks tonight. I hope those posters have a clear understanding of exactly why the company has been driving towards becoming a low cost, vertically integrated vanadium platform. We are hedged against both high and low V prices and although being dependent on the steel market at present, the company is positioning itself as a leading player in the VRFB market.

They are also expanding the number of production sites, which gives some protection against unexpected events interrupting production at one plant and Vanchem will add significantly to Vanadium production. Diversifying products will avoid dependency on just one market. Their strong drive to cut production costs and increase production helps to maintain strong profitability, even in the current V market.

The political risks obviously exist in SA, but with a new President with detailed knowledge and understanding of mining and seemingly determined to fight corruption and BMN delivering exactly what the President wants in terms of mining as a sunrise industry, then it is not unreasonable to be less concerned about the risk.

The profits generated have eliminated any chance of dilution just to keep the lights on ... the scourge of so many AIM companies. Indeed a significant part of the growth of the company will be funded from profit, with the option for debt financing if necessary. That for me is a huge plus.

The V price is obviously a significant factor. Over the next few years it is unlikely that any significant new supplies will come on stream, and the structural deficit that many analysts refer to should help to drive up V price.

I am sure I could rustle up other risks but whichever way I look at it Fortune and the BoD seem to have most bases covered. That is why I remain so POSITIVE. Not ramping ... just looking at the facts as I know them and drawing my own conclusions.

2019 / 2020 looking very exciting based upon what I know.

Alfa it is quite possible that some don't realise how much work you have done for fellow shareholders. For example The Bushveld Perspective is an amazing resource for anyone interested in things BMN and Vanadium. There are numerous contributors but you were the driving force behind it, setting it up and continuing to maintain it.

I have not come across anything like it on any other share. We all owe you and the contributors gratitude for all that effort. So useful to have everything in one place.

Berserker you are entitled to your opinion but this I find strange, given that very many posts here are fact based. Eg loudspeaker posts the V price and maintains the TBP info, irrespective of whether the v price is rising or falling. Paludina provides info on V shipments to the US whether low or high. Alfa provides feedback on so many things eg Vanitec meetings. Even I occasionally post useful factual info such as transcripts of interviews with FM, JM, etc.

By all means don't trust anyone if that is your way. What goes around comes around. There is a sense of community here and info is freely shared. No one can force you to trust any of it.

Speaking personally I have received tremendous support on this bb, particularly through this period of cancer surgery and chemo. There are many very decent people contributing to this bb, and as a community we collectively benefit from the individual contributions. My own understanding of the stock market, vanadium market, VRFBs, mining processes, AIM, etc has greatly increased thanks to those contributors.

Whatever strategy you adopt Berserker I am sure it will be right for you but please remember there are genuine people investing in BMN. Please respect that.

Confirmation bias. How often that is banded around to undermine credibility in well reached posters. How about following Warren Buffet's advice ... Find a good company, invest in it and hold. In my opinion that is exactly the situation with BMN. Served me very well so far.

Some posters in the past have failed to see the potential in BMN or lacked the patience to hold. Sadly they may have missed the large rises in sp. I believe there are many here that are determined not to make that mistake.

PlayerOne can I suggest you consult the sp graph before further comment on your part.

The sp has been in the trading range 23 to 26p for about 7 weeks. Hardly falls under the heading "being hammered".

In my opinion we still have one or more (institutional?) sellers holding the sp until finished. Obviously a key factor in dropping the sp was the falling V price but that now appears to be in reverse.

However the company is putting in place the building blocks for increased production, multiple production sites and diversity of products. These moves will begin to deliver in the coming months and that together with rising V price should see a significant growth in sp. Hence the SPAngel target (recently INCREASED!) of 92p.

Buying opportunity? I will leave that to you to work out. But remember there were plenty of cynics around when the sp was 2 p, 8p etc. I ignored the lot of them and now sit on about 1100% paper profit. Not selling because I believe there is much more to come.

Sadly you seem more concerned with attacking those that post positively and do exactly what I have outlined above. Even you would have to admit that is likely to attract less than fabourable comments.

The problem cc is that cuts both ways. Many of the 'visitors' to this bb use attacks on established posters (myself included) as a way of undermine their credibility in their efforts to spread negativity. In my opinion such people deserve all they get.

I would also point out that after I said yesterday that you are no fool your retort was to imply that I was. Perhaps you could help clean up this bb by playing nicely yourself.

As it happens I enjoy negative people being rude to me. Usually means they have lost the argument.

PlayerOne I agree this company has incredible potential. By comparison the risks (and yes of course they exist - talk about stating the obvious) they are eclipsed by the positives. That is why we are so positive about BMN.

Just look at the sp rises from 2p to 8p, from 8p to 23p, from 23p to 30p, etc. Just as LTHs always said this investment would give great returns ((and it has) all the time folks like yourself and CC would claim negativity as balance and try to discredit those that give their research and positive opinions to this bb so willingly for the benefit of others.

I remain a committed supporter of this company and am delighted with BMNs performance. If criticisms come my way who cares. It is my opinion that this company will deliver future excellent returns for its investors.

I have no time for those that peddle misleading negativity about one of AIMs best resource companies generating large revenues and healthy profits, and delivering a very exciting expansion and diversification plan.

If you want a safe investment then go to the FTSE companies and take your low growth. On the other hand for a small risk here the potential rewards are considerable. That is why I hold. And for the avoidance of doubt I do not trade BMN.
