UKsteveg if Alfacomp has let his frustration show with all the uninformed short term negativity displayed on this bb, including by some who should know better, that is a pity. However it is very understandable. With Alfa not posting we all lose the benefit of his insight into all things BMN. If you or anyone else thinks we are better off for that then in my opinion you have made a grave misjudgement. Can’t see many here able to fill his shoes in terms of scientific understanding etc.

Perhaps the regulars here could all make an effort to support this investment and help to raise sentiment. If shareholders in BMN can’t be positive about this company why on earth would anyone else want to invest here. It’s not rocket science.

And there is no need to ramp BMN. Just discuss the huge achievements and the exciting developments currently happening and future planned.

Jelly I have tried to explain to you that I am NOT an expert in financial matters. However I do trust my judgement of people. I know what I think about Fortune, and that forms the basis of my investment. How explaining that to you has triggered your latest post frankly is a mystery to me.

You seem to have a ‘thing’ about me. For the benefit of the bb I suggest you focus on BMN. The last thing I want is for you to make yourself look a bit of an idiot.

I’m curious. Are people suggesting that Fortune either does not or did not know the listing regulations, hence the delay in JSE listing?

Regulatory issues have never been given as the reason for putting JSE listing on hold as far as I am aware (ie not listed on another primary market for 18 months). I seem to recall Vanchem purchase as being one reason stated and am I correct in thinking COVID was another issue that BMN referred to?

I would like to give Fortune credit for knowing what he is doing at least as well as we do, if not a tiny bit more!!!!!

I believe he has indicated recently that this is being considered? If so I must assume he is formulating a plan that can deliver JSE listing.

For the record and to help with your limited understanding of my motives, I am no financial wizard, nor an expert on all things stock exchange.

On the plus side I have a degree in Geology and am very well aware of the quality of the resources that are under the control of BMN. A huge factor in my consideration of this investment. I also have the benefit of a lifetime career that involved assessing the performance of people and their potential. That is part of my expertise if you like. I am wise enough to stick to what I know. Unlike you I have met Fortune on a number of accessions and have judged him to be an exceptionally talented man. And that was before he secured the Vametco and Vanchem plants. Therefore, again unlike you I have invested in him and his ability to deliver on his stated objective to build a large low cost vertically integrated vanadium platform. That he is delivering, despite the many obstacles thrown in his path, and years before anyone else.

My support for Fortune is not rose tinted. It is based upon my confidence in my ability to judge his character, and thus my confidence that he is the man to trust to deliver great returns on my investment.

And Jelly before you come back at me with some wisecrack my original investment averaged somewhere between 2.5p and 3p. The price later rocketed to 48p. Only a complete idiot would think my judgement of Fortune was wrong based upon ROI.

Why didnt I sell at 48p? Because I like the company. I like direction of travel into renewable energy. I like the prospect of improving the living standard of South Africans through development of their economy. I like this as a long term investment. I don’t like trading shares, and I am not driven purely by greed and short term greed.

So like everyone reading this bb I have my own reasons for investing in BMN. Kindly respect that please. And if high on that list is that Fortune Mojapelo is an exceptional CEO and you can’t see that, then more fool you.

Has been speculated on here that a method of getting listed could be via a reverse takeover of an SA listed company. I believe MUST was given as a possible target (may have that wrong, if so apologies)

In other words there may be more ways to achieve this than at first it seems. And Fortune has a track record of pulling rabbits out of the hat. Don’t underestimate him.

Someone, I can’t remember who, said they consider the share price already trashed at 15p.

Perhaps that someone has forgotten that a little over a year ago the sp was 8p. That was a sp trashed! The seller/s (if the theory is accurate) could have driven the sp down to that level again had they chosen to. In my humble opinion they have drawn a line around 15p and are likely releasing just sufficient shares to maintain this level, rather than an uncontrolled sale that would trash the sp.

Of course there may not be sellers and the theory may have no substance. But then someone has to explain the share price, which most contributing here believe to be very undervalued.

Let’s hope that means that something big will have been announced before then as a topic for discussion!

Faramog not sure I understand your use of the term big seller ‘myth’.

You know my opinion ... that one or more sellers are still unloading, and the frequent large round number sells most days, whilst not proving anything, can be interpreted as evidence if this. There is no evidence that I am aware of to suggest that big sellers unloading is a ‘myth’ if that is what you meant.

You may not agree that large sellers are unloading but you surely have to concede that at very least it is a possibility.

Exactly Alfacomp. Backed by the Profs Viljoen he saw the opportunity to move into Vanadium in 2013 …. And took it.

Early on they started talking about building a large low cost vertically integrated vanadium platform and are well on the way to delivering … years before anyone else.

Visionary and strategically brilliant. And delivering! From explorer to producer and driver of the VRFB industry in short time and relatively little dilution.

Taking a bit of time for the wider market to understand all this … but I am sure that time is coming.

Jogj your comment should remind people just how quick and cheap the Bushveld journey was from junior explorer to owning two of the four primary vanadium production plants. First acquisition of Vametco in 2017 and 100% Vanchem in 2019. Just how long and at what cost to set up a mining and production facility like Vametco and a production plant like Vanchem both from scratch on greenfield sites.

Strategically brilliant? I think so.

Ability to seize an opportunity? Absolutely.

Knuttie just for the record I only included that phrase because LTHs often get accused of stopping others voicing an opinion, which is quite ridiculous as there is no way I or anyone else a) could do that or b) would wish to do that. I was heading off that daft suggestion before Jelly came up with it. However do I challenge opinions? Oh you bet I do, especially if they threaten to damage sentiment concerning my investment.

Predictably Jelly has seized upon your observation and yet again completely ignored the focus of the conversation which is about what evidence he does or does not have to support some of his statements. Clearly he has no evidence whatsoever and instead chooses to be rude towards me. Jelly you can be as rude as you like. But be aware that such responses say far more about you than your target.

I tried to have an adult conversation about the evidence behind your comments but your responses ... well they have been disappointing to say the least.

I am moving on as it is unlikely now that anything useful will be achieved by further conversations on this matter. I suggest you do the same. But I am not trying to stop you hurling more abuse my way if it makes you feel better.

I am not sure how being rude to me advances your cause, although I do understand that trying to discredit critics can be used as a last ditch defence. Frankly I was hoping for a more cohesive discussion from you about why you made the statements. Is that too much to ask?

I understand your frustration with the share price. I am sure we all do. But does that justify making unsupported statements that can damage sentiment?

If you have something specific to add in support I would love to read it. That is all I am asking.

Jelly just to follow up on that point about starting a rumour, I challenged you for evidence because several times over the last couple of months you have made comments such as ‘dark forces at play’, ‘stinks of a takeover’, ‘someone knows something we don’t’ etc.

Now instead of an evasive answer about owners of the bb or bb police (which you have previously posted) could you please put together a cohesive answer explaining the evidence you have that leads up you to that conclusion. I am sure we would all like to know if there is anything in what you are saying.

My concern is that you have no evidence yet you keep repeating these ideas. Rumours like this can be damaging and I am sure you would agree that it is right and proper that they should be challenged to see if they are credible.

I simply asked you what evidence you have? Instead of answering what is a perfectly polite and reasonable question you avoid giving an answer and come back with this nonsense: “… what is it with you and your followers?“

I think that tells everyone all they need to know. You have no evidence. Please avoid starting rumours by making unfounded statements. It adds nothing to the collective knowledge about BMN and could be seen as an attempt to mislead, which I am sure you didn’t mean to do.

Jelly exactly what do you think this ‘something’ is that justifies you starting a rumour? You need to present evidence. Otherwise you could be accused of attempting to mislead the market. Do you have any evidence at all?
