Most of that dumb punt money left this morning on the red herring Roche tosh. Great. Happy with that. Onwards and upwards.

This is consolidating for a move this afternoon just as it did at 49 to 53, a lot sold then smart money mopped up, MM's stopped selling the LnG Stock and it made a big move in the afternoon.
We'll close in the high 60's from here. Shakin' out the noobs! LOL.

I’m happy that people are nervous and selling and happy that there isn’t so much of a “nailed on” attitude around.
One thing I’ve learned is that when everyone agrees that an outcome is nailed on, inevitable and everybody is waiting for it, then the SP action usually disappoints as the news drops.
The slight change in sentiment here to a bit more scheptical with hot punt money leaving and nervous money on the sidelines has made me Uber bullish.

The throughput of the Roche Cobas Analyzer machines have a throughput which is far too low to test whole populations. Ive known about these Roche tests for weeks and looked at it as a possible threat at the time but quickly discounted it. Not practical, too many Cobas machines would be needed and it would take years, not to mention extracting intravenous blood samples from 50,000,000 people, logging them, storing them on ice, testing them, disposing of them as hazardous medical waste....Its just not practical, its a non starter.

There is a possibility that gov could implement immunity passports with a 2 stage verification to cut down on the possibility of false positives for antibodies.
First we all get our RTC POC tests from amazon and register the results online.
Those of us who test positive for antibodies are asked to make an appointment for a blood sample and lab test to verify.
If the original home POC Test result is substantiated by a lab test then an immunity passport is issued.
This will take a long time but could be a global route out of this mess with minimal margin for error.

Dibs....The Daily Mail editorial team are trading and regularly use their rag for market manipulation. Just look what they did with UKOG and the notorious "Gatwick Gusher" front page headline that drove UKOG to a £500Million Mcap.
They are using this Roche machine lab test news to try and insinuate that this is the test that the GOV are waiting for and not the RTC POC test. Those of us who are well researched know this to be impossible for many reasons of practicality.
The Daily Mail editorial team will be loading up on ODX this week.

Expect a further reversal Daily Mail headline, maybe next Sunday, maybe sooner, that will have Omega Diagnostics all over the front page proclaiming us as the undefeated saviour of the entire planet. Its coming.

I did a calc and with the current number of roche cobas e analyser machinrs currently in use running at their full capacity of 400 tests per day itvwould take 7 years to analyze 50 million blood tests.
Plus they need to get 50 million people to go to hospital to give a blood test. Even cancer patients are refusing to go to hospital currently. Good luck with that.
It’s a non starter. May have some applications but it’s not the game changer govs are looking for.

I honestly believe that people on the Daily Fail are actively involved in attempted market manipulation. Their recent sensational headlines and articles are full of many of the points made on this bb. They read this board and they’re trading! No doubt about it.

Roche Elecsys- 7 years to test UK pop.

The Roche Lab based Elecsys antibody testing system requires an intravenous blood sample. So 50 Million people need to go to hospital to get their blood taken with a needle. That’s hurdle one. Good luck with that.

The system uses the Roche “Cobas E” analyzer to analyze the samples which has a capacity of 50-400 tests per day according to Roches own sales website brochure.
A friend of mine who is in medical equipment sales estimates that there are no more than 20-30 of these machines in labs across the uk.
Let’s be generous and say Roche have 50 machines running at full pelt processing 400 tests per day each.
The calc is.....

50,000,000 samples so 1,000,000 per machine.

1,000,000 divided by 400 = 2500 days.

2500 divided by 365 = 6.85 years of continuous running.

Even if they increase the number of machines 10 fold and install a whopping 500 machines in labs across the country which isn’t going to happen then it would still take almost 9 months of continuous analysis to provide results from 50,000,000 blood samples.

Non starter.

It’s a lab test and at current capacity it would take at least 7 years to analyze 50 million blood samples in the uk. The machines have a max capacity of 400 tests per day and there are less than 30 in uk currently. It’s called the Roche Cobas E analyzer.
The machines need a full intravenous blood sample so 50 million people need to go to hospital to get blood taken then at current capacity working flat out the machines would take 7 years to provide results from those 50 million samples.

Starbucks you’ve been told time and time again that both the Roche tests and Abbott tests are lab based tests that require participating labs to purchase the associated machinery and train lab staff to use it.
Both the Abbott and Roche tests require a full intravenous blood sample taken by a qualified professional, a nurse or a Doctor, a finger prick sample is not sufficient. Samples need to be sent to the lab and results days later. Using that system it will take until 2030 and cost Billions to test 70 million people.
The ODX Consortium Rapid Home POC Test has a bar of 98% accuracy. It will cost a few quid. It will be posted out to homes using amazon or bought in boots. Users will prick their finger and have a result for antibodies in 20 minutes. The user can then register their result on the Gov.uk website set up for the purpose. All done in a couple of months.

Agreed Merchant. I look at it like this: I’m in Spain. Yesterday we were all allowed out to run and ride bikes for the first time in 7 weeks. I was running like Forrest Gump with thousands of others. We all know we haven’t got Coronavirus because we’re not sick! We’re all out running FFS. None of those out running will buy an antigen Test. However, we all want to know if we’ve had it and have antibodies. We’re all curious. We’d all be queuing up to buy antibody tests when they’re available.
Simple.

Anybody expecting millions of people to have saliva tested to get into sporting events with an antigen Test need to think again. The WHO have just ****ed on your chips and basically repudiated the validity of any saliva based antigen testing program.
Open to false positives from an overhang of dead cells in the lungs.

Reinfections were false positives due to dead cells in the lungs.

The WHO have since rolled back on their earlier statements that antibodies might not give immunity.
They say the later positive antigen tests from people who earlier tested positive with antibodies were due to a residue of dead cells in the lungs which give false positives for active virus in the saliva.
Two things we can take from this:
1.) Antibody testing will undoubtedly be widely implemented in a program of immunity passports.
2.) Saliva based antigen tests are unreliable as they are prone to give false positives due to an overhang of dead cells in the lungs.
