MCap here is almost 5X undervalued based on potential profit from current manufacturing capacity!

£3.20 target.

Omega have a “Current” manufacturing capacity of 48Million tests per year.
At a very small profit margin of £1, that’s £48Mill pure profit.
At a FTSE valuation of P/E10 that values Omega at £480Million pure minimum profit. That’s before buying the factory in India, before expansion or anything else.
Divide that £480Million by 150,000,000 shares in issue and that gives a share price target valuation of £3.20 purely based on £1 per test profit at today’s existing manufacturing capacity.

It doesn’t matter who’s name is on the bag!!!

Most FTSE and S&P 500 companies have a market cap that is 10-15 times their yearly income.
Get the calculator out, do some research on how many tests we’re going to be making, work out the margin, multiply by 48 million tests per year, times that by 10 for the market cap valuation then divide that by 150,000,000 shares in issue and that’s your medium to long term share price valuation.

It doesn’t matter who’s name is on the bag, Mologic or anybody else.
There’ll be hundreds of companies with labs developing these tests soon, both antigen and antibody.
Omega do not aspire to be the worlds only supplier of antibody tests. That’s not the point.
The company has a manufacturing capacity of 4Million tests per month currently. At a 30% margin on a £10 test that’s £144Million per year pure profit.
That level of profit values the company at £720Million on P/E 5. The MCap is currently £90Million.
It doesn’t matter who’s name is on the bag.
It’s all about the pure margin from mass manufacture.
I’m leaving a large chunk of my portfolio in here now to let it play out.

Wasn’t the Elisa test we are manufacturing for Mologic said to be “99.6% accurate or as good as humanly possible”.
That sounds pretty good to me. 46,000 a day I think we’re making. A few quid each, £30mill a year. Happy days. That’s just the start. Sounds pretty good to me. No pleasing some people.

ODX the only listed smallcap company currently involved in the search for the Rapid POC antibody testing solution.
All the others NCYT, AVCT, GDR, all antigen testing.
Not much mention of antigen testing though. All the strategy going forward is all about antibody testing.
Coiled spring here that’s for sure. Massively undervalued compared to the other three, who are all competing in a smaller market, whereas little ODX is all alone in a massive antibody testing market many times the size of theirs. Ya couldn’t make it up! :)

Well if the MMs are printing big delayed buys now then that means they are letting the cat out of the bag. Highly likely they’ll be letting it go tomorrow.

While we’re all discussing the implications of what was said regarding the various options for the testing strategy let’s not lose sight of the fact that it was all about antibody testing!

Nothing was said about antigen testing for live virus. It’s clear that going forward over the coming years antibody testing will be globally massive.

They will use both the lab based serology test and the rapid POC Test. It’s simply impossible to take 50Million intravenous blood samples then test them all on the available Roche Cobas analyzer machines at the max rate of a few hundred per day. If you work out the time taken it will take seven years to Analyse 50 million blood samples on fifty machines in labs around the country.
How are you going to encourage 50 million people to go to hospital and wait hours to have a blood sample taken? Would you go? Not likely!

Why do you think the Government picked ODX to be in this Consortium?

Do you know that they already have a Rapid home POC test for HIV called Visitect CD4 and it even has a track and trace app already linked to it. Basically, it is a full turnkey package for HIV that Omega already manufacture and is basically exactly what the Government have said they are looking to implement for Covid 19.

Anybody who sells out of a stock with this much news due because a commentator like Zac Mir said it was a good idea is an idiot.

The dumb money sold because it was too lazy to research what the testing capacity of a Roche Cobas analyzer was and divide the time taken into 50 Million blood samples. The stupid and lazy dont deserve to make money. The stupid and lazy can kiss my a s s and chase it up into the 80's and beyond to get back in!
