As well as not selling any in UK, Abbott are not selling any in USA, neither are Roche with their similar lab test that requires investment in their lab equipment.
Governments are waiting for these home based rapid POC tests.
For what its worth, after Trump said “...Great progress being made over in Oxford...”
I think the US Government are waiting for them too.
Little ODX and Abingdon Dong have the capacity to manufacture at sufficient scale for US supply so will be interesting to see what they do.
My guess is that ODX will tie up with US big Pharma and a deal will be done for say Roche, to manufacture, under license the ODX Visitect CD4 Covid 19 Rapid home POC Test under license.

It is commonly known that everybody makes mistakes but the definition of an idiot is somebody who fails to learn from those mistakes.
After calling a short on NCYT at 40p Gary Newman made a mistake. I also ignored it, looked again at £1.15 and decided the boat had sailed. We both made a mistake.
Gary is still making the same mistakes with ODX when the stock has three bagged since I got in and has five bagged since many other PIs got in at 10 and 11p.
Gary has failed to learn from his mistakes. Gary is the definition of an idiot.

My current favourite is the 488 Pista. Fezzas are fabulous but not for me, I wouldnt buy one. I love them but im a bit shy. I dont really like being stared at Lol. I'd be totally out of my comfort zone driving round in a Fezza. They are beautiful though.
I had a 911 Turbo S a few years ago, Silver, quieter and dont draw the attention a Fezza does so they suit my personality more.

Surprised to see Doc and Gary Newman on Twitter banging on about the Abbott test as though it's competition for the RTC POC.

Anybody who sold on that piece of Abbott Nothing News needs to do more research.

The Abbott test is a lab test just like the Roche test.
Participating Labs need to buy the Roche equipment hardware to use it. Then they need to train their technicians to use it.
The Abbott test involves a lot of investment by participating labs and a lot of time.
It isnt scalable in a short period of time. It isnt practicable to use currently.
The Lab test is not what Governments are looking for at this moment in time. Governments around the world are waiting for a scalable POC test for home use that they can ramp into production quickly and get out to their Citizens via Amazon or whatever, thats the Consortium ODX test.
The Abbott test doent fit the bill. Its nothing new either, Roche already have one also. Not news at all really.

Its a brutal, expensive lesson. We've all done it. Just gotta learn from it and not do it again.

But Im a smart man. I bought another £32k there and that's money I cant afford to lose. That's a very significant amount of money for me.
This is a life changing opportunity right here for those with the brains to see it and the ****** to take advantage of it.
