Hi Lazarus, just a quick addition to your post - speaking to someone I know who works in investment finance, he said that the RF deal would almost certainly have had a clause within it, stating that RF couldn’t short the share - in the end they didn’t need to due to the shenanigans of others!!

Glad to hear you’re well, and yep I appear to be on the mend.

Not sure, when I invested in Sareum I considered my partial ownership of the Company, I merely looked at the opportunity to invest in the work of a couple of scientists with the hope of making some money (which I have done along the way).

I monitored the progress of the “science” always knowing that “funds” would be needed to support such - can’t deny it hasn’t all gone to plan, however, I believe (rightly or wrongly) we are at a point where during the course of this year we will know one way or the other given the RNS’s to date if Sareum can deliver.

I suspect some on this bb are so tunnelled in their thinking that if the Toxic Studies do not reach satisfactory conclusion, that will be SP’s fault as well.

I’m a great advocate of moving on and dealing with what I can do, not wasting energy on “stuff” I can’t change - think we had the same discussion at the AGM in 2023.

Yes, SP hasn’t got it right all the time, but, I do believe he has somehow corrected and managed to save “our” Company and put us back on track and give our investment a chance to come good so I continue to hold.

If I’m honest, the bb has lost it’s attraction for me, which is a great shame as there are some great posters here, but, a bit like the line Educating Rita when Julie Waters quotes “all singing the same old song” , the bb is losing it’s purpose ( I include myself in that too!) so I will frequent less - was that a cheer in the background?

Hope you’re well and yep I get the frustration on the bb and as discussed by many (much of which I disagree with) the disdain for SP, TM’s lack of commercial nous and now that you’re brought up Agile, we may as well call for JR’s head as it was his statement attached to the RNS and then what will we be left with?

The BoD have laid their plan out for this year, as an investor you buy in or buy out of that irrespective of the past, I’ve always said the BoD want this as much as us and I do believe they are doing as much as possible to achieve that - if they come good so will a majority on here!

Thanks for your reply, all noted and appreciate the informative content of your posts.

From my perspective, the BoD have laid out their intentions and yes if it follows that route, many comments on the bb regarding timelines, placing etc.. come into play and the obvious, it is all relying on successful outcome of toxicity studies - Risk v Reward that prompted our investment in the first place!

That said, things can change either way, so for me I look at the game plan and little snippets that intrigue me - such as Dr. Zeds post regarding AGM next year backed by yourself, the introduction of Oberon as joint broker, the emergence of a TRI who happens to be Chairman of a biotech involved in the fight against cancer and inflammatory diseases.

Who’s to say R & D people at Pharmaceuticals are not looking at us, SRA737 is a new ball game in March - in the meantime, Sareum progress with the “plan”, but, I’m convinced opportunities are being sought by SP!

I don’t buy into this rhetoric that they’re just sitting there taking the wonga, they want this as much as we do - time will tell!

Don’t disagree with your sentiments, however, that doesn’t means things can’t change on the financials - the BoD have set out their intentions, but, SP will imo still be looking at betterment whilst JR and TM concentrate on studies, data etc.

Long term Toxicity Studies is what it says on the “tin”, long term and will carry on post P2 trial ready, if Sareum continues with development - doesn’t mean someone can’t step in during the interim period and/or the financials change between now and then.

I’ve already raised Tony Hickson as CPO of CRUK and role with SRA737, unfortunately, they don’t appear to be that commercially aroused in seeing “success” via their clandestine set up with CPF as the Licensee and Sixth Element Capital as the Funding Manager - check the latter websites, nothing - but, CRUK happy to show SRA737 Phase 1a on it’s own website pipeline!! Not a lot we can do until the BoD see CPF in March, happens when you’re funded by 3rd party and a minor stakeholder.

SDC-1801 tox studies commencement, as Krone alluded to in his post regarding JPM Event, JR stated “early in the new year” - jeez we’ve only had 4 working days and people already whinging!

Step back and have a think - BoD say they are talking with interested parties, I’m sure R & D sectors of all varying size of Pharmaceuticals are watching, what better than to announce start of Toxicity Studies for P2 ready trials on the opening of a major biotech event where such Pharmaceuticals could be in attendance - personally, I’d rather see that next week than a RNS this week.

Anyway, just my thoughts and hopefully passes the “balance” test!

CRUK probably highlights why the UK is going broke - too many “buzz” academics/advisors running enterprises with no accountability or commercial nous or understanding of the consequences of the Contracts they sign - nice spiel on the website of their vision though.

MHRA no different, said no and cost Manchester a £4m plus clinical trial in the UK without giving a clear reason or courtesy of reply when asked!

Perhaps justifies Starmer asking all Regulators how they can improve and assist UK economy to grow by next week - he will probably get reply saying “Thank you for your enquiry, we are currently receiving a high demand in calls and all staff are on annual leave until Easter, on their return following a reorganisation of Departmental responsibilities our colleagues from “Gardners World” will be able to assist with any propagation matters you may need!!

Sorry for rant, must be getting better - which reminds me after reading bb, appreciate the good wishes sent by all over the last month.

That said, I do think Q1 could be interesting - I’m intrigued what SP’s mindset is, everything is laid out in black & white ….. but a new joint broker Oberon, a TRI profile reading “ Serial entrepreneur, Chairman of Biotech” just makes for positive vibes imvho, but then, I sleep on a earthing sheet so no doubt neutralised by the negative vibes!!

In fairness, the Chairman responsible for the BoD’s Corporate Governance and the CEO for the company’s day to day business, usually in communication with each other.

Furthermore, all directors have a legal responsibility to act in a legal and diligent manner to shareholders.

The RNS presented by TM stated “this deal WE believe to be in the best interests of the Company” suggests it was a collective agreed decision not one individual’s at a time where there probably no other option that was better.

Let’s move on, it’s not going to change but Sareum is still here and we have 1801 and 1802 to progress, a new joint broker in Oberon and in the back ground a TRI who is Chairman of Aurealis Therapeutics who happen to focus on cancer and anti inflammatory, oh and SRA737 back in 90 days - surely something new to talk about!

Hi Potnak, trust you are well - I simply use the term “genuine holders” as someone who as an investor wants their share to do well.

I’m well aware of the risk v reward, hence I don’t post or speculate on values, just how I see Sareum trying to get to an end game in hopefully a positive solution.

You yourself have stated you wish to take on the “Cheerleaders “, which in itself is a conundrum, as you have said the company could be worth £1-2 bn - does that not make you one?

What I have learnt, is that some people are quick to knock people who spend time sourcing information that they share for others to consider - you don’t have to believe everything you read, but, you can still learn from it!

Likewise, my energy is sapped by the insanity of some posters (accept people may have that view of me), but, it is a public forum and like most others thrives on negativity rather than the good - personally, I’d rather deal with the good and if it don’t work out, my call no one else’s.

Personally, I don’t think Sareum have the financial capacity and/or manpower to oversee SRA737 coming in-house.

Appreciate others will have different views, but, to me the RNS’s of the last quarter have put the BoD focus clearly on SDC1801 with 1802 in tandem going forward.

Obviously, it would be good if SRA737 had progressed with a third party, it hasn’t, and I wouldn’t want deflection from the BoD and it’s stated “Plan” - of course, if something can enhance that plan that is where I see SP focussing his time and efforts in H1 of 2025, whilst JR & TM concentrate on the science.

Those who wish to continue slating SP, I’m with SDollar, I don’t think we would be in existence if it wasn’t for him ( just my opinion) and remember Consolidation, RF etc we’re joint BoD decisions under TM’s remit and approved by the Nomad.

I smile at those who want to argue we have “Cheerleaders” - bet you would take the money if it came to fruition!

So just leaves me to wish all genuine holders a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!

Ultimately, Tim Hickson Chief Business Officer at CPF should be explaining why SRA737 has stagnated over the last 3 years on his watch and deals!!

As I said people will always have different narratives on the bb, but, I do get baffled by the dinosaur comments regarding SP and remaining “invested” - haven’t we moved on?

And as for prompting an opinion that “we continuing to argue for a year “ suggests a certain mindset, that frankly is of no interest to me as there is no rationale to discuss.

After a night of mulling it through, my sentiments as well - Tim stepping sideways to concentrate on data package, enough funds to keep the progression going to P2 ready, John’s slight slip of tongue of “partner”, signed off CSR, a new joint broker who if you look at in full is not just a fund raiser and a of course and our new TRI - as a fellow poster of this bb said to me yesterday - the joining of the dots !!

Just an opinion, and appreciate it doesn’t agree with everybody’s narrative, but, as I once alluded to I really do think we have “meat on the bone” and are in the shop window!!
