We have just signed with the Minister and the President of the Republic as witness to the signing of this exploration agreement. It means we will immediately move forward with two of the ten concessions that are part of the agreement.

This agreement is very important and significant, firstly because it involves making progress on the concessions that had been granted through a framework agreement. What this facilitates are concessions that we have prioritized as mining rights, and additionally, it has an impact on Ecuador’s social component.

How many concessions is exploreco?

Yes Fort we can buy back part of it which will help. Can also buy back some of the previous two deals as well. All in if you fact that it it could well be zero impact - or at least a very low impact.

RK - you do need to add in the impact of the franco funding to that. DGR say its a 9% impact. Also it doesnt account for inflation escalation or TAM.

Rodney I think its pretty clear from the DGR announcement what Solgold will use in the DFS - thats all im saying. Clearly if you use higher rates than what DGR seem to suggest we will use then of course it will be higher.

Fort inflation in Ecuador is nothing. Its escalation which will do us. The redcloud research note is prob a good indication they have NAV at 3.8 billion with more inputs than I used.

Sh4reInvest if you read the recent ASX announcement by DGR its seems pretty clear what metal prices will be used in the DFS. Copper prices US4$.20/lb and gold of US$2300/oz

So looking at the sensitivity analysis you would add 0.3 billion for copper and 0.7 billion for gold. So that gives you 4.1 billion. But the DGR release also said we lost 9% because of the Franco deal which would mean losing 0.7 billion on the new figure so 3.5 billion.

The above doesnt take into account any additional additional costs or the impact of TAM which is clearly likely to be substantial.

We get the next 5 results from TAM what in the next two weeks? (though Im somewhat confused about that) If they are of a similar standard to the previous 3 then surely this is only going to push on further? If they are great then could be even better. Of course there is a chance they dont live up to expectations but surely they are drilling in areas where there is an expectation of good results?

The reason it bodes well is it says its a requirement of the IMF. Ecuador cant afford to mess with the IMF its too dependent on them for funding.

Good to see that the green lobby is against the merging of the ministries - bodes well.

Fort I was thinking similar at the start but changed my mind when the mining chamber said that the government were refusing to even discuss the tax (which is why they launched their legal case).

The two mining companies in Ecuador are currently ranked number 1 and 2 in the country in terms of annual profit.

Im dubious - it has such an impact on the value of exploreco. If we are paying say 30 million a year on the tax its clearly worth less than if we are paying nothing. I think its positive/ funny that basically no one has paid up yet though lol the government must be fuming.

Rodney do you really think they can/ it would be sensible to proceed with exploreco whilst this tax/fee is up in the air?

With respect its not correct you are confusing the presidential election with the Parlimentary one.
