at the moment. those shares value between 300k and 100k I think the fact that odey gets a bigger slice at way under market value and they dont raise the amount in the balance sheet when there so close makes you wonder...... I think this rise is a bank holiday week spike tbh. why would you not give a yourself breathing space with an oo offer to raise 10 million in the coffers? takeup? didn't look like it would be undersubscribed at that. I think sell in may and go away might be a wise from what your saying........how many oo do you think it would take for odey to reach 75%?

is there supposed to be monet coming back from spmp at the end of march which will make them be able to pay back the debt in june in full?

just asking a technical question.... from what I can deduce the gold recovery works by turning the raw material to be an oxide which makes it porous then the cyanide is used to wash it and the gold is drawn out. cyanide has a state change at around 26/27 deg c so how will the the temp change of the summer/winter day nights have any effect on the plants ability to run 24/7? I presume the cyanide is gaseous so the desert heat helps with costs?

so they heat treat it to around 400/800 deg c oxidise antimony. then wash porous oxides with cyanide not water to clear the gold out. it was the washing process I could not understand.

thanks for the pointer. so it looks to be a dry process....interesting.i will have a look. the 2 shift working hours of 4am-12pm 4pm-12pm due to heat was what guys who worked there were on. maybe the winter is kinder. but those are the sensible outdoors working times as far as I am aware if you want to get the job done quickly.

is there any new photos? irs been 3 months almost. Do you know anything about the gold recovery process? I would think that most of it has to be "washed" out with lots of water to allow the heavier elements to sink. But all of this depends on the quantity of ore coming though and the ores content and the efficiency of the plant. Unless the deposits are gold rich I doubt that figure will be hit until there up to full production levels and a lot of that might be dependent on the ore content......

so it would seem that odey get a progressively larger amount of equity because of a low OO than would have been the case had a more realistic OO price been set and say 6 or 10 million in cash had been raised and the loan payed back in full from the cash surplus? Only time will tell I am sure. But another OO where the original stock is diluted to such an extent and targets not met on-time or with delays could leave any TSTR shareholder with a problem of having to keep buying in just to keep their portion of the pie as the board values the stocks OO so low that only odey has the stock level to buy considerably more and at a bargain price too when the board wont raise more capital with a realistic OO price. I hope the plant works, I hope its completed on time. but it does look like a TSTR shareholder comes second to a odey asset management loan agreements or its intention to have more of a percentage of tstr at a bargain price.......where any chance of a payout via dividend IF/WHEN the plant turns a profit for a private investor is negligible........Don't get me wrong finding someone to let you have 3million is one thing but at this rate with the delays and being over budget ridiculously low OO odey and the board could keep this up for the next couple of years and go to owning most of whats left for about 5-10 million.........I struggle to see how a low OO helps anyone but odey.....in the long term......

so that would put tstrs' net worth at somewhere between 200 million and 30 million should there be a debt for equity swap. with the consolidation option would it make sense to dilute the shares and issue new share based percentage holding after the loan is breached as per Marconi a few years ago?

ok thanks for the info.....erm 300 contractors unless there coming via buses would take around 10 to 15 times the sunshades for car parking depending on lift sharing etc from places I worked at assuming there in vans or cars. I am presuming this place isn't accessible by bicycle or is close to nearby residential homes so can be accessed on foot.

hi, can you answer why the plan and the site layout in the tstr website are different from the spmp one? I know the site seems to be following the tstr sites drawings.....but surely the 2 websites would have the same planned layout or at least update there site if there were changes? perhaps its the gold recovery that made such a massive change where buildings are....but there no where near in the same spot as the original plan? is it really tstr running the show?

I think the winter months are a very reasonable summer day here through to the summer months where air conditioning is probably a good idea. however for this reason the plant makes sense as the raw material will be dry......which should help....unless the process has washers and sieves which require large quantities of water and separators to get the gold out. I think this the usual process where heavy elements sink and get trapped when washed with water and shaken buts all getting a bit technical.......all I really wanted to know are the sunshades there or not.???????yes or no......nobody has answered yet

no I am being deadly serious. early start and sunshades later because of heat then late finish normally there. mad dogs and Englishmen as I recall from someone who worked there. apart from the comedy comments a; taking DOWN sunshades seems like a waste of resources when you have a planr ro build........ b; indicates there use on another project.....where the contractors could have moved on to......... c; have they stalled and workers gone on a job elsewhere.......contractors like to have work......maybe its a 2 day job to strip it down......but why would you?

on the top photo on TSTR website of Jan 18. in the top right corner the sun shading has gone from most of the car parking area and the workers cabins/sleeping area. it looks as if there is shading for about half a dozen cars or so now and that the sun shades have been removed. does this mean the site is running a skeleton staff?

it does look like there are now sunshades for around a half dozen cars or so.in the top picture on tstr site...indicating a skeleton staff on the other hand they could be the sparkys' with the switchgear........
