tbh I think that brexit would have an more of an effect if it were say a finance company.
true people might be put off from investing thinking after brexit I will spend my money or issue a contract, but at the end of the day its a multinational. they operate in other countries. normally with this industry contracts come up for renewal and more or less have to be renewed. true there is "fresh" work.

personally I think of brexit like Y2K......much more the right word to say at the mom3ent should anything (like the sp) not make sense.
speaking of brexit. they go on and on about customs.....and how it WILL be a problem if we are out of the EU BUT never mention the TIR customs control. which is a wider than EU system.

42 isn't long away......only a few weeks. the SP should make you happier.....I think at the moment people have lost sight that with prospecting its all about swings on a few results.......it will be back I am sure.

What you say is very true.
The important thing to remember is that the sector has taken a bashing, not just interserve.
They have secured themselves enough money in the near distance future.
The SP is ludicrously low compared to the market cap.
Its coming up to the bank holiday and things always drop........so I would seriously think about getting it as I think its about as seriously cheap as you are going to get. By Christmas I think you will be laughing.

did you read it? they built it years ago. the council passed it off. the defects were identified and rectified with a year after being built (max timescale) for applicability if they have a problem under contract was a year when rectified and they threw the claim out of court as it was x number of years passed down the line not within a year of the rectifications.

unless the directors have wangled a bonus into their contract on profit vs market cap!

It is not a sector that really is in favour...IF you look at the SP of the major competitors.
Importance is to leave contracts that dont add up.
serco would only take some of th3 contracts from the defunct carillion due to this.
SP will return when the sector is a bit more in favour.....riding out the storm with enough capital and borrowing facilities against the order books to tide you over till you complete your targets and get the payoff is they key.
Not sure a firm with market cap so small against huge order book isn't looking to get taken over normally however with the sector being how it is which competitor would go on a spending spree to do this? At the moment it would be an "outside the industry" investor IMHO which is perhaps why they dont seem to be worried about writing off value to a ludicrous level where the profit in their 105m contract (should it go to plan) is going to equate to around 1/7 of the market cap.

I do understand its dropped away.........and some have bought in at over 10p..just think of those who were in at 60p...been a while but I remember the largest holderr has option to buy further shares at 15p which means no worries about financing in the near future..even if the sp is crap...and you can be sure that you are going to be heading quite a bit north of that if your prepared to wait .......reading you earlier post I think there were 53 or 54 stores...ish. iirc not 40 from their website.
if you want to try and work a ball park figure for the market cap value......it might make a difference. hopefully you can see the light at the end of the tunnel not have tunnel vision with no light.....especially if the basics underlying your figuring makes you think go figure! as it did with me at this price!

50 odd shops at a market cap of 5/6 million........each shop is probably worth better than 1/2 a million,,,,,,hard not to be bullish about a butchers........it really really is at LEAST 5 times undervalued......on a BAD day. There stuffs not bad either! Or THAT

would it cover the cost of the dealing charges if he did sell? or do you think some brokers would have a "free" dealing charge for any directors of any listed firm wanting to sell or buy?........it would at least make it financially viable.........

I think the shares are having a lull in the period after, they will go up again...dont get me wrong we all want them cheaper if we want to buy.......but I dont think there going to get be much cheaper than they are now.....the aftermath of the RNS being the main tipping point.......they will climb again and way past the 65p target.....but GL if you can get them cheaper......

I remember seeing mention of a takeover in the spring early summer. At more than one source aswell. Has that died a death?

yes I think I saw one somewhere from another firm cutting back the target price from 95 to 75p a few days ago.

at this price if one of their directors hasn't jumped in and bought some to shore the price up and make a good profit into the bargain I would be surprised if there will be a rise...

they have 3 drill rigs.....
