The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Jsimbo, As one of the victims I'm also genuinely interested in the point you raise. Are you subscribed to sheriff Winnie's site and want to explain what's been done to damage shareholder interests in view of the last two days RNSs? (And potentially more of them) I'm too thick to understand how I will have lost out if the company goes on to become a massive success. (Therefore - A simple explanation without the usual TW expletives please.) Ps Apparently Sean smith offered to meet Winnie in Greece and explain a few things to him but he refused the meeting. It has been postulated that some people are just interested in bashing.
Doesn't look like it. Rest of market is pretty red.
Biggest market in the world for environmentally friendly pesticides to use on grapes now open to a tiny British company that's been struggling with EU approvals for absolutely years. Tiny British company selling in Greece and Kenya, and yet the self appointed AIM Sherriff TW has managed to hobble the tiny company SP and paralyse potential shareholders. Good job Tom. I'm sure the established manufacturers of more nasty pesticides are laughing their socks off. Love your work.
Hope it works out for all those who topped up this morning and even more so yesterday.
Awful lot of winnifriths teeth chomping and goggle eyed vitriol seems to revolve around the fact that Eden won't even talk to him and in the past have set lawyers on him to shut him and his associates up. I'm not sure if eden have issued RNSs normally about his attentions but perhaps given the seriousness of the accusations this time and a 40% drop they should. Good news about Greece.
Not when I've just paid my self assessment I won't :(
And how long till we get a statement from Eden?
He's always had it in for Eden and TDM (now ENRT) - been writing deeply disparaging things about them for years. Anyone understand, agree with his assessment and care to explain what the self appointed sheriff is on about?
Not much to say, I'm waking up every morning and hoping for an RNS of another country approval, new sales agreements, or both. But - you need a lot of patience with Eden and the EU Ive been waiting for EU approvals and significant sales since at least 2012 - maybe earlier. Sitting tight and keeping occupied.
( those were supposed to be little tractor emoticons)
I don't mind which one of them gets announced next to be honest. I assume Spain and Portugal are south Europe too. Hoping for a happy Easter... 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
I can't be sure but I think that 120 days expired some time ago, and since then only Greece has approved. And Kenya of course - but they aren't in the eu. Still waiting for the rest of the southern wine growers - Italy, France, Spain - could be any time from now if they want to spray this year..... Eden tests the patience.
Home page - on the right. Need to subscribe for anything more. It's a good site. It's quite encouraging if you are wavering about buying Eden. I was......
Little jump in SP - are we about to hear something more?
It's not a buy for me at the moment. Reason being is I have been buying it for the last 5 years. Just discovered LSE from a friend of mine who is a potential (and keen) customer of 2K. Quite frankly it had been a terrible time for me until that last RNS, as I had been ploughing money into 3DM/ENRT like some kind of lunatic. Loads of promised PIM applications, loads of jam tomorrow, and I faithfully topped up, averaged down.......... Wasn't until I went to an investor meeting last summer courtesy of Michael Walters that i heard from Peter Aylmore who is ex ENRT/TDM, (now MD of EPT) who explained that although they had was a great idea, there was no concrete business plan and no real clue about the problems that implementing PIM in the real world would bring. In hindsight I was investing years too early. PA said last summer that it had become apparent that it wasn't that easy and it would take 18 months development to get PIM working industrially. (I'm not sure twhen that 18 months began but EPT have been advising 2K, who are over budget by some margin) ENRT have changed direction a few times, but now I think they are on the verge of both survival and profit. I have really been worried about whether ENRT would even survive for about 18 months, but i do believe that RNS has put that to bed, barring some scandalous investor sellout/betrayal event. I think now its only a matter of time. ENRT will never make it back to £1.60, but I think 20p is very achievable if 2K do take this worldwide. And they intend to if that RNS is to be believed. I think it will fluctuate a bit from now till March when 2K launch Ecosheet at Ecobuild. Maybe up and down a bit, but a penny share with a nasty spread it can hurt if you try and trade it. I don't really mind, I'm fully invested, paid up and just waiting for it all to kick off. About blimmin' time!! ;-)
