Bridges - Thank you clarifiying that (PA not the same as a bill). I understood incorrectly and what you have said gives me greater comfort. With regards to the virus I agree with your point, compared to other viruses it has a low mortality rate but to be honest I would rather move away from talking about the virus and more about the share! Does anyone know anything about how far the insolvency bill has progressed? I cant see ratification take place until this bill is passed.

I do recall reading somewhere that the Ghana Parliament have promised to ensure the Pan Andrean bill will have a decision by April (1st sitting)?

Apologies Timbo237 should have been clearer. This will be resolved as there is too much money at stake for the billionaires and BOD. But its messy and will take time but I hope not much longer. I am annoyed this has made the 3 month deadline pass but once it is resolved should move up.

The outcome is inevitable inmo but time is another matter. Each week this is losing more and momentum and people are running out of patience

The insolvency bill was supposed to be agreed weeks ago. On this basis any ratification bill will take months. Patience needed.

be willing to wait and wait and wait and at some point in the next few months it will be sorted. This process is unbelievable slow so have no timelines and just wait for as long as it takes. I am changing my expectations to help curb my impatience by a process that has taken 10 plus years....

There comes a point where there is not much to say I guess. Patiently (and painfully) waiting is all we can do. I am expecting the Insolvency bill to be passed this week (as reported earlier) so hopefully that will be the start of things with ratification,

Good point Bridges and I agree. Just getting a bit impatient that's all. Each day its getting closer but as I am anticipating it so much the day drag. I need to take up a new hobby to take my mind off it I think!

Thanks and the next question is after the insolvency bill how soon will be the ratification reading? Do we think it will take another 4 weeks for ratification to be signed off? is it a dead cert ratification will take place?

Fair point I haven't worked in 3rd world country but hope they speed this up as this will help them fast track to 1st world and we can benefit in that too. I keep hearing they are speeding things up and hope it happens this month.

Dutch - my criticism has nothing to do with country or culture. Its about old working practices and that crosses cultures and countries! Anyway last thing I want is to divert from issue at hand so no more comment on this. We need to see the bill passed then immediate RNS then ratification.

Its no surprise this ratification process has taken over 12 years. The parliament is a joke and working at the same pace as medieval times. That's why so many of us are frustrated and annoyed. When you read their papers you simple cannot believe they go in this level of detail just to change some words. Primitive procedures and processes. All we can do is wait nothing more.

As always thanks Bridges. I wonder whether you or anyone else is aware of the oil industry 'average time period' in relation to some of things you things you mention in your post?
From ratification I am assuming (a dangerous word I know) that farming will take place quickly as they are likely to have an agreement in place with the likes of Tullow who are probably ready to go. However how long does an average 'farm in' take? 3 months? 6 months?
You mention remaining until oil found - so again what are average timelines?

Bridges you are a star in my eyes and will become a legend once all this becomes a reality. It feels like I have invested here for years when actually its alot less but once it gets to the 'promised' land I will top slice, live my life a bit and maybe take a short break from the intensity of AIM shares for a few months. The only two shares I have invested in is this and PET and as they are linked hope the ticks you mention in your post will benefit both. I have a larger holding in CLON though.

Yes it feels like it is the slowest process in the world (paint drys faster) but hopefully not long. My hope (and its only hope) is that the Erin saga gets clarified on Friday which should see a small temporary spike. Then over next week the ratification gets done so the share should jump. I know the Ghana parliament want to prioritise this but if this is them working fast I dread to think what it is like them working them slow? My own approach is to top slice at 7p and then leave a small amount long term.

Frankly speaking who cares? 10K is not an indication of anything. When we talk about hundreds of thousands then we can talk about interest. I am waiting from Friday to take place and then hope very quickly after that ratification is confirmed.
