Hi rise andshine I have seen you here on this forum for some time and you are considered by me as a genuine person who has a genuine interest. Yes oil is what it’s about for me and all these people telling us how amazing lithium potential is dont understand the big picture and past context.

I have a big investment here and am waiting until the company folds or strikes it big. I may be in fantasy land as this is without a doubt a poor company who look like they have a bunch of jokers running it. They have a complete disregard for shareholders and have the audacity to say things at Agm’s that would be considered as ‘ridiculous’ by normal people.

Saying all that ten years ago the official govt did somehow award something to clon and no decision has been made on ratification. Some people talk about ideas being worked up from 10 years ago but we are talking about a whole decade gone and hardly any development with clon taking place.

I should not spend every day reading posts and instead check in every month. That’s the problem with hope!

Thanks for that link. Delays are nothing new for us long term holders. Delays have been a regular thing since 2010 so we are now talking about all this ‘potential’ and awaiting big news of apparent ratification for the past 11 years.

All these people who are sending link about Bolivia lithium are people that are trying to ramp and have missed the point. The Bolivian govt agreed previous partnership deals with a Chinese and then a German company. The fact that lithium is the next big thing and people sending article after article means nothing as it’s just a possibility and potential. Clontarf is a tiny minnow compared to big companies so are unlikely to get anything big but we can all have hope.

It amazes me that grown adults are giving an attention seeking and intentionally provacative loner like nookinfear any time of the day. This guy can have an argument with a brick wall.

He is somebody that is lonely, lacks hobbies and clearly is seeking any form of attention. Kindly ignore him and let’s focus on business which is discussing and keeping updated on clon.

My feeling is that the share price will show not much movement until there is an RNS demonstrating some form of action / AGREEMENT. We have had many RNS’s saying some form of progress has been made but after many years, now need some form of agreement or action. Fingers crossed all genuine holders

This was all sadly expected. As soon as all these new people bombarded this board with hope and Bolivian stories I knew this would happen. I’ve been here a while and never heard of these people sharing ‘exciting imminent news’.

No news no rns just people and rumours. In the past this has a short impact on SP and then it falls.

The fact that Bolivia wants to maximise lithium should not impact Clons SP because there is no mention that Clon is directly involved. That’s the part people missed. To date no confirmation that Clon will be given any projects.

As I said I am hugely invested and will stay here until I make my money back. Whether it’s 1 year or 5 it is what it is and patience is key.

Rumours and observations on whySP has gone up or down are insignificant. Whether ratification will ever take place is certainly a reality but for people invested like me in a high SP, faint hope or light at the end of the tunnel has been completeley lost quiet yet.

Hi rise and shine.....still here and still checking these posts. Seen the SP go up a bit and frantic messages and rumours circulating including ‘has news leaked’ and ‘get ready for imminent news’ as well as ‘going to explode’ and only for a few days later SP remains the same or goes lower.

Still have ‘hope’ and take everything with a pinch of salt. Don’t expect any RNS or key updates until a few more months (and never rule out in a year knowing how dreadful the BOD are for updates).

It would make for an amazing 2021 if we did get ratification and the SP did go to the figures suggested by some of the genuine and experienced people on this but need more patience to see how things pan out......fingers crossed for all...0

Hi rise and shine, you are one of the people I refer to in my message about being a geuinine person. I have read many of your posts with interest and appreciate your updates.
I would imagine that the point Nff is making is based in the drop in sp and lack of updates. From being so close to ratification end of 2018 to now zero relevant updates it is hugely concerning. I am unfortunately one of those you mention who is heavily invested and have no choice to hold on, pray for miracle or die by my sword it is all turns up to be a scam.

Never have I seen such a bunch of in professional amateurs who ‘appear to be stringing mugs like me ‘ for years on end.’ Covid of course has had an impact on the world but does that mean deals have not taken place around the world since covid arrived? For ratification to have apparently been so close that people were saying ‘any day now’ and now fast forward to 2 years and all we have seen is SP drop, words branded as ‘inshallah’ and ‘sooner than you think’ it certainly does not provide any reassurance that the BOD know what they are doing

I would not be surprised if we are all here this time next year talking about ‘potential’ and ‘ any day now’. Equally I would not be surprised if it’s game over though doubt it as they can string us along more.
I have hope or more like faint desperate hope.

Dear Echo, having been invested for what seem like an eternity, my advice is don’t ‘wonder’ and don’t try to connect any dots.

Nothing seems to make sense with pet or CLON. Complete amateurs who have been stringing in mugs like me for a long time . Yes there is potential but after so many years the potential appears to be used more and more despite years passing by.

Well this story appears to be like the never ending story. As somebody that been invested here for seems like 30 years (but is much less) I have seen people come and go. I have seen poster boys and a newly rats change names try to dampen people’s spirits and I have seen some honest genuine people giving advice.

What confuses me is how we don’t hear anything or see any movement for many months and then have rumours which create desperate and much needed excitement but ultimately it has taken far too long and that not just because of covid-19. I can’t get my head round why the Ghanaian government (who’d could have lost the elections may I add) react so slowly to the passing of the big bill last year. Many of us thought that once that was passed we would of have confirmation of ratification.

The language of DH and his meetings are somewhat embarrassing and it amazes people that people listening to his answers let him get away with such Vague and uncertain language such as ‘sooner than you think’. What on earth does that mean? Sooner than a both or a decade?

I bought in some of my shares at 1.50 so am here For some time. Hearing the dates change from 2019 to now 2021 is heartbreaking as we cant act like we are talking about short timescales.

You read stories such as EUA who I should have bought into but used my money into this and it makes things worse.

Though my confidence has gone down from 59% hope to around 2%...I am still here....

I completely understand everyone’s frustration. I am a saddo who is heavily invested (for my personal position) and can’t help check in and out of this board. Been dragging on for years so that must mean I have wasted hundreds of hours of my life.

I need this brought to some conclusion for my own sanity. Please BOD make this finally happen in 2020 and don’t drag this on to 2021z if it does I fear this time next year we will be having the same chats.....

Thanks bridges. Fingers crossed something happens soon as it has been dragging in for a looong time. I am hoping the very very latest we hear something is October (with flights resuming sept this should give them time to finalise any agreements.

I topped up a bit more today. I was curious by what you mean when you said ‘ . We will get news in the interim statement next month.’ bridges.
I noticed a change in terminalology from Wednesday may get news’ to ‘we will get news’ which makes me feel a bit more positive.

Do you have a view that we will get a general update from clon by next month or do you think we will get a ratification update by next month?

As always bridges you are there when some of us have doubts to give us some confidence with wider picture. For amateurs like me it’s just taking soooo long and each month drags on and suddenly it turns into years. I totally get the massive potential and with serious patience it should be well worth the wait. I keep reminding myself of possible sp spike and rerate in order to make me steadfast. If it turns out to be a goldmine there are a few pro’s here that have always given good advice and shared great analysis whom I will be sending pre paid fine dining Cards too. Fingers crossed it happens sooner rather than later. If sept is when flights resume in Ghana then I seriously hope by end of October ratification is confirmed.

Thanks rise and shine, I am sure that gave some of us a much needed bit of hope and reassurance of potential. So many unknowns and so many delays. But potential always makes u feel a bit of hope about the possibility. Now that the insolvency bill is signed I would love to think that ratification could take place in a few weeks. I am holding on to this no matter what BUT the more I read about the BOD especially with what is happening to pet, it does sometime make me wonder what I have got myself into. Thanks again

That’s a good strategy on the basis it doesn’t shoot up. Unfortunately for me I have a mix bag. Some I bought at 0.65 and then 1.10 and painfully at 1.54!!!!

So I am hoping for a big so rise so I can make a few bags on my purchases at 1.54z maybe wishful thinking.....maybe not.....hopefully soon time will tell

Good to see at least something happening.sometimes I feel something is better than nothing I.e some movement no matter how small is going in the right direction.

Now it’s all about awaiting ratification. I wonder whether all the SP rise forecasts that have been posted here pre Covid -19 are expected to be lowered significantly or not?

I know that I keep saying patience is required but it beggers belief that will all the government talk about urgency and quick timeframes the president has still not signed the insolvency bill. I know it’s close and I know it’s soon but having been here a while I am still taken back they don’t feel the urgency or embarrassment that after 10 plus years they still have not resolved this issue. Weeks and months are passing by and i hope it doesn’t turn into years. I would happily go over there and do voluntary admin work just to help them get this over the line. The one thing that keep me going is my hope that once the president signs the insolvency bill they will quickly approve ratification. If ratification drags months too it may break my will. Sorry rant over!

I hear you loud and clear foolsgold. It is extremely frustrating draining and tiresome. As close as we are (in terms of progress over the past few years) it’s still one of those things that you never know may take few more months just because of the primitive / medieval system they have. We can really do nothing but wait. If it blows up then it will all be worth it I guess but boy am I exhausted.

Thanks both. To be honest nobody should expect much for bridges. He has kindly shared his advice and opinion which has been appreciated. However it is clear that this is painstakingly slow and to be honest a snail would move quicker than this.

We can post as much as we can, we can say ‘boom’ when The SP rises a bit and then goes down but we don’t have influence over the dinosaurs in parliament.

All we can do is wait and wait and hope it the next few weeks / months something magical happens.

I have a lot invested and am just hoping the bill gets signed of soon and ratification takes place soon after. That’s all we can do is wait.

It saddens me that people are all playing into the hands of this immensely deceptive, manipulative, twisted and attention seeking character named Onassis. Simply click on his name and see what he has posted and how he is desperate for people to talk about him.

He is trying to divert focus and get his own attention that keeps him going on a day to day basis.
